Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 12:02 pm

hey everybody, fishers here ^_^

recently there have been one or two threads about your favourite npc, so why not the one you hate the most??

i would be really interested to see what people come up with!

personally, mine has to be....guards!!

i hate the way they treat you with no respect, and know how you have a bounty on your head before you do....

please post!

It's a tie between Martin, Glarthir, the adoring crap and the elves altogether (as a collective virus with sissy voices driving me nuts).

Telina really hates stuck up Mages. Although finally today, after 10 days of travelling the country, she finally recieved all her reccomendations. However she can still not get out of her mind the Guild Hall leader of Cheydinhall. What an ass.

Don′t like Argonians, but an individual is hard to pick. Maybe Jensine or Myvryna Arano as I never liked those, but I don′t know if I hate them.

Hmm...characters I don't like...

Lazare Milvan. A stuck up PITA who thinks being of "noble" birth makes everyone inferior to him. He makes a wonderful way to enter the Dark Brotherhood.

Farwil Indarys. Brain dead moron who wouldn't know the truth if it walked up and pimp-slapped him (and he'd probably invent a daring tale of battle from the encounter).

Falcar. His soul looks great in a black soul gem (and the irony is sooooo sweet).

Marius & Alessia Caro. I cannot stand racism. I wish neither of them were 'essential'. *opens cs and grants own wish* *starts Oblivion, travels to Leyawiin, kills them, gets arrested, pays fine, leaves*

Audens Avidius and Ulrich Leland. Corrupt guards. Nothing more need be said. (so why did I? )

Valen Dreth. First NPC you encounter, and he's a smart-mouthed...well, I can't say that here.

Falcar. Muuuuuurderer.

Lucien Lachance, he thinks he's soooo great.

Mage Scholars.

Martin: I save his worthless butt ten times over, yet he steals the glory in the end.

I actually liked this. Too many games where you are the hero at the end, whilst in this one you don't play as the top guy.

Kurdan, stupid orc. Hes from the quest caught in the hunt. If you know the ending you'll know why he pisses me off.

Farwil, ya hes pompous and stupid, i don't hate him for that though, i hate how he won't wait, and he is un essential, as and escort character he shouldn't run stupidly into battle...grrr

Maglir the fighter's guild bosmer, i doubt he even had a family...no one could ever love him as whiney as he is. Made me wonder if the blackwood just wanted to spite the fighters guild or if he is actually a good fighter when i'm not around

Even the apprentices, before a certain point in time: "im sorry fellow magister im really busy with my blah blah whatnot studies crap"
And then he goes to talk with another mage apprentice.
So i used the console to set conditions that wouldnt make me get expelled. And i chopped off all of their heads. Including the idiot mage scholars'.

Oh yes, Martin. "I know this is hard, maybe impossible, and no one's ever done it, but YOU'VE GOT TO SUCCEED".
Probably could have sued him for attempted murder time and over again, and at the end of the quest, random npcs will say "ZOMG did you see -snip-? MARTIN SAVED US ALL"
And im like I DID YOU IDIOT HE COULDNT EVEN RUN TO THE TEMPLE ENTRANCE HIMSELF

Glenroy. Not a spittle of respect came out of his flapping gums. Years later, when I was perusing UESP and found out he died, my heart swelled 3 times its normal size.

Earana (rogue mage in Chorrol). She is mean, nasty, condescending and dangerous. I mean she was before somebody . . . well, she won't bother anyone anymore.

Alval Uvani is irritating, but he is mostly hot air. Usually, Buffy simply hits him with a demoralize spell and giggles as he runs away. (Yes, we know about his affiliations.)

I'm curious. How did you make it through the tutorial dungeon without realizing that Glenroy died?

My least favorite NPCs in the whole game are, without a doubt, Fighters Guild porters. They're particularly creepy if you play a female character. *involuntary shudder*

Both of my least favorites "used to" reside in Cheydinhal.
1. Falcar
2. Dulfish gro-Orum

Buzz, buzz, buzz.. both on the receiving end of AzFireball187

Some people can look at the ingredients on a pack of chewing gum and discover the secrets of the universe. Mage scholars think they can do this if they stare at walls long and hard enough.

I too never reaslised that Glenroy dies. It took me about 5 characters to watch him die right next to the emperor, because normally he runs off and dies and then I am given the quest to move on. I see no point in looking around with all those scary assassins around!

Maybe it's because I always take the time to loot everything in sight, then. I never pass up a chance to rifle through the pockets of dead people. I do the same thing in video games too. :hubbahubba:

This. Really thinks a lot of himself, that one. "oooh look at me I'm a big bad murderer and I like to speak very slowly to give you more time to admire me!"

Earana (rogue mage in Chorrol). She is mean, nasty, condescending and dangerous. I mean she was before somebody . . . well, she won't bother anyone anymore.

I had a suicidal khajiit once who tried to murder Earana with her bare hands in broad daylight, she hated her that much. Obviously it ended terribly.

And the one in the Chorrol hall won't even mend your [censored]! How useless is he?!

I know a lot of people like her, but I truly cannot stand Mazoga. Stuck-up orc. Why should I help her after she gave me a mouthful of abuse? :flame:

Particular people that annoyed me:

Imperial Battlemages: "You must be the newest member of the Arcane University, this humble battlemage bids you welcome." I'm already the Arch Mage, how stupid can they get?

Farwil: "Lets attack that group of Spider Daedra! I'm sure they will be no problem at all!"

The announcer in the arena: He talks too much.

Farwil Indarys - most pompous ass in the game. Just insult him and then let the town guard take care of him. Huzzah!
Falcar - bugger picked a fight with the wrong character. :flamethrower:
http://images.uesp.net/8/86/SI-npc-Relmyna_Verenim.jpg - if her work truly had merit, she would practice it on herself.

Glenroy. Not a spittle of respect came out of his flapping gums. Years later, when I was perusing UESP and found out he died, my heart swelled 3 times its normal size.

You sure it wasn't greenmote? :P
