I find television commercials very annoying.

I admit there are some funny commercials, but even those become annoying after seeing it for the 3rd to 10th time. Funny commercials are like a dry joke after a while. Its funny the first time but gets annoying after hearing it so many times.

I understand there is DVR and its still annoying to sit there and fast forward through those after a while. I kind of just wish they had a plan to cut out commercials for a little extra and it would seem worth it.

Its almost like website advertising, no one cares and just wants to block them. Same with TV, I wish I could have something to block all the ads on tv.

However I don't watch public tv very much. My family likes it and I normally would rather wait a year or more for the show to come out on DVD.

I personally cannot stand commercials at all.

Arrow Season 2 just came out and I didn't want to watch that season whilst it was on tv just to avoid commercials.

I like to watch shows like I would a movie. No Interruptions. A commercial is a huge inconvenience to me.

They weren't always so when I was kid, but it got to the point where you have a commercial come on every 5 minutes and than you have to sit through 10-15 different commercials before the program comes on. So you have up to 7 minutes of commercials that are taking more time than the show itself. I feel commercials are a form of spam. I wish if people want to watch commercials, than maybe have a channel designated for that.

But this is just my humble opinion.

I never watch commercials. I either watch my shows on Netflix or fast forward through commercials on the DVR. I usually don't watch a show live. A lot of the shows I watch are on premium channels, so there aren't any commercials anyway.

Can't stand commercials. I usually don't have time to watch shows live and dvr them for viewing at my convenience. Then I am able to fast forward through commercials. Sometimes an on demand show will not allow me to fast forward through commercials so I go and get a snack, drink or have a smoke to avoid them.

I dont acknowledge them on tv.... it is horrific only in movie theaters.

I barely watch TV anymore, but when I do the stupid commercials annoy me. Ads are the internet commercials and those things piss me off.

Also, why no poll? Me like polls.

I despise ads of any kind, on any medium. I understand their purpose but sometimes they're a bit too much, especially when it's 2 minutes of show with 5 minute commercial breaks. I wonder about the online ads that have a link for people to tweet the ad, do normal people actual tweet ads? I don't use Twitter but anyone who tweets an ad which will add to the whole madness, needs to have some sense knocked into them.

I love my DVR for this reason, I never watch a TV show/ game live anymore so I can record it any skip past the commercials.

Love them. Especially cars, food and drinks.
