Do you like dogs?

Post » Fri May 02, 2014 1:22 pm

By this, I mean, do you like dogs? Cause I like dogs. They're fuzzy, stupid enough to follow you no matter what, and only ask for walks and food in return for their services. I prefer big dogs, since they don't resemble rats so much.

What kind of dogs do you like?

THREAD RULES: This is a hardcoe dog thread, therefore, only dog-discussion is allowed here. Chihuahuas, Hyenas, and Wolves do not count as dogs, and therefore, are not to be brought up for conversation.

I have a chihuahua and he's awesome. Just as much companion to me as any big ass dog would be.

Yes, I love dogs. And the misleading title . My favorite dog is the good ol' German Shepherd. I'd love to get one once I have my own place.

In all seriousness, really? My girlfriend has this chihuahua mix that I walk every day. Once you get them to stop barking at everything they come close to, they really aren't that bad. And it's funny when they need to be carried back home due to being so tired.

well im listening to pink floyd "dogs" and got a good buzz going. so i'll roll along with this.

I love dogs. i had a dog once, but a little girl was torturing him and so he bit her. so they were forced to put my dog down. I didn't get over it for years, it really wasn't fair at all.

Mine doesn't bark at everything unless we're in the house. Other than that, he's just flincy/skittish.

Dogs are awesome but unless you clean your dog and home frequently, both will smell

Dogs > cats

dogs are superior to cats.

But I hate overly clingy and or noisy ones.

Cats>dogs. They're arrogant, independent, cute and I willingly submit to them. Dogs salivate everywhere and make a [censored] ton of noise. Gross.

And those are all the reasons why I dislike cats. Dogs are only as bad as you allow them to be, in my experience. You just have to train them. The only way to have a good dog is to be a good owner, since dogs have a pack mentality.

All we need is a cat innuendo.

I love dogs. Make for such good companions. I have a Boxer and a Pit Bull or American Bulldog? People keep telling me they're the same thing, and others keep telling me there is a difference. I don't know. I heard Boxers are quite smart, but incredibly goofy to which they may look stupid.

My family had Sheltland Sheepdogs when I was a kid. Magnificent and beautiful dogs. But they shed A LOT.

Same here. I have two of them. A 3 year old and 5 year old. Love them to death. Their favorite activity seems to be chasing each other around the yard with an old 4x4 in their mouth.

Love dogs, just don't own one currently as I'm very busy with other things and I respect dogs enough not to make them stick with an owner who can't give them the affection they deserve

Maybe they are looking for a forced time away from the forums? I changed both thread titles, no more innuendos.

Had Sheltie when I was a kid. Grew up with that dog, and when I was thirteen...

the worst day of my life up till then.

we had to put him down. Epileptic and nearly blind. Still, he had good life.

My mother always gave away dogs for whatever reason when I was young so I never got to see them get old enough to the point they need to be put down. Still, its not a day I look forward to now that I have my own dogs. And I hear skin cancer is quite common with Boxers.
