If you lived in Tamriel.....

Post » Sat Mar 20, 2010 4:28 pm

I'd probably be a Breton, I already look like a member of that race, short and Western European looking. Farrun in High Rock might be an interesting place to live, it's near the ocean and I love watching the waves. I'd be an alchemist, hopefully in the Mage's Guild, as more a mixer than a gatherer. The countryside of Tamriel is beautiful but heart-stoppingly terrifying.

(...please don't say assassin)

Why not? :P

-Province: Elsweyr
-City: Dune
-Race: Khajiit
-Job: Thief-mage. I'd have a variety of different skills, most related to magicka. I could see myself working part time as an alchemist and spellmaker. When work is scarce (or whenever I felt like it) I'd use my talents to steal everything I could carry. With potions and magic, that would be quite a lot!

I said "Don't say assassin" because in threads like this I read a few months ago, everyone said "Assassin". Half of them weren't even technically assassins. To them, an "assassin" is someone who stealth kills people for fun. That's a serial killer, not an assassin.

Me I might live in Cyrodill or High Rock, as I believe the food and climate is nice there. I think I'd do art and architecture, a bit like a renaiseance man, but I think I would study magic in my sparetime, most likely illusion.

An Orc of Mauloch. Our sect is based out of Hegathe, where we lurk in the allies and kidnap the careless and faceless for goring. We make bittersweet bugjuice as a front. :hehe:

Race: tough choice wood elf ( just make sure my eyes aren't so big damn it!)
Job: Apprentice of Master alternation , Restoration or mysticism or all three of them, I would work on Alchemy on the side( I'm not a strong person and more intellectual , and funny I use those skills the least in Oblivion)
Place: Summerset Isles or maybe High Rock , if I'm lucky to survive the insanity the Shivering Isles.
I would toil on my magicka day after day and do alchemy experiments on the side note. Maybe get wasted every once in a while.
On the side note maybe just run errands for my master and get magical equipment for him/her.

If I lived in Tamriel I would be fanatically loyal the Empire and the province of Cyrodiil, I would not be popular among the beast races . . . yes I endorse slavery O.o!

All the posts giving and whining about not having received fishy sticks have gone away. A good tradition that sadly gets spammed.

The second Bethesda retcon the Bosmer so they aren't annoyingly smiley, whiny, short-assed prats anymore, and perhaps reflect the more dangerous and isolated, yet respected and awesome looking Wood Elves from Warhammer, then my answer would be a Bosmer of Valenwood. The province is amazing, and a place i'd feel right at home. The people... eugh, seriously? I just see the Adoring fan and Fargoth in every one of them...

Until then it's a toss-up between an Altmer of Riverwatch, near Alinor, spending his time studying alchemy and the Isle's flora, or a Nord in any one of Skyrim's cities:- The place matters not, so long as I have a mead hall to waste away in.

I doubt I'd be able to stay in one province, since Tamriel is so varied and interesting. I'd probably be a Breton mage or thief, nightblade maybe ?

-Province: Skyrim

-City: Not entirely sure, as info on Skyrim's cities isn't very well developed. Probably either Solitude or Winterhold

-Race: Nord

-Job: Ruins excavator. Combining the strength of a Nord plus my interest for history would allow me to venture and excavate dangerous ruins.

Use my superior knowledge from this world to become rich, marry a lovely lady, get old, die.

I'd probably live in Skingrad or Chorrel, and be a imperial since they resemble us the most I guess.

Since I had no idea which race would reflect my personality, I took a quiz and this was the outcome:

you're a dark elf! you are an average, easygoing, and well-balanced person. in the game, you can do anything with moderate ability

I have actually put thought into this before having a very strong love of D&D.... Yeah, I'm an all around nerd, that's right.

So I would live in the Provence of Cyrodiil, simply because the climate would be the most comfortable to me, having lived in Colorado all my life and being very used to a temperate climate.
As far as the cities go, I would probably split my time between Cheydinhal and Bruma, with regular trips to the Imperial City. Mostly because I love the architecture in these places and I love Cheydinhal, it's my favorite city.
Race... because there really is nothing that fits me completely would probably be settled on a Breton. Just because I think I would have a very high attraction to magic and I love all things supernatural.
Now my job... I would be what I am now. An artist. I would spend a lot of time painting and drawing, and also spending a lot of time on writing. I like to research things like art history, astronomy and history in general, so I would also be a part time scholar and author.

And I'll stop now because I'm sure my nerd is showing.... ^^;

Alchemist/Scholar/Historian

I started out as a Hunter/Ranger then gradually made my way to Morrowind seeking out the Dissident Priests to explore the history of the secretive monastery - which then became my home.

Race: Khajiit

City: I wouldn't stay in one place, I'd roam the countryside sleeping in camps.

Job: I'd spend my days travelling the lands practicing invisibility and chameleon spells and beating people up with my unarmed style of combat. No weapons, just the flying furry fists. I'd beat up people indiscriminantly - animals, travellers, village people, knights, bandits... they'd all get attacked! Every once in a while I'd go into town and beat up people there too, just to keep them on their toes.
