If you lived in Tamriel.....

Post » Sat Mar 20, 2010 4:04 pm

Race: Argonian

Province: Cyrodiil or Morrowind

City: Bravil or Waterfront in IC if Cyrodiil. Some Telvanni city if Morrowind

Job: Alchemist and Poison maker, setting up shop that functions as a laboratory and hospital. There I experiment and study the effects of poisons and diseases. I'll pay compensation for tests subjects that survive, and treat and study those who have been afflicted, though treatment is often...not traditional.

What I'd be good at is alchemy (for poisons and potions), destruction, and small blade (got to have high precision and accuracy for when I do surgery). Partially insane, yes.

I would be a Nord Blacksmith in Bruma, looking to marry a simple girl, start a family. And NEVER leave the city gates. Thats how people die in Oblivion, they step out of the cities.

Race: Khajiit
Province: Valenwood
City: Haven

Job: I own a small eatery and general store. Near the back, under a few bags of flour and grain, there is a small trapdoor. Throguh the trapdoor is a passageway to a hidden room. In the hidden room, smuggled moonsugar is stored. The moonsugar is smuggled across the border from Elsweyr and stored here. I sell to all the major criminal organizations in Valenwood.

A Bosmer, in the not-so-moving moving city of Falinesti.
I'd probably just be a lunatic, as far as occupations go in Elsweyr. Maybe I'd aspire to be a simple craftsman and travel up to Anvil from time to time.

Race: Imperial (who sees Cyrodiil culture as generic and wishes he had been born something cool like a Dunmer)

Profession: Scholar / Philosopher / Tutor-for-Hire

Province: Morrowind

City: Some place Redoran or Indoril (home of the real Dunmer, not the sissy Imperialized folk)

I'm gonna have a re-do 'cause I want to be more realistic with it.
I would be a Wood Elf living in Valenwood, as a volunteer helper in a library in Woodhearth, working under a scholar. I'd be the town do-gooder, since I have an insane moral compass. I'd probably live in a small home on my own, and I'd wander around the safer parts of the area. I'd know every local animal, and I'd be out-and-about at odd hours of the day; since I'm the kind of person who at 10PM decided to take a walk by the beach and stare at the moon for no particular reason other than to contemplate its existence.

I'd try to get on the good side of everybody I know, particularly the fighters and mages.

I would have an inner urge to travel, but my timidity and cautiousness would probably make me ignore it due to the unsafe wilderness. Every once in a while I may take a trip to Summertset Isles with an Altmeri friend (assuming I'd made one), and I'd just go sight-seeing, since actually trying to live there would be difficult at best. At home I'd focus on learning more about the creatures around me, and learning the culture of different parts of the world. I'd be a big advocate for treating all races equally, and I'd secretly be very agile, even for a Wood Elf.

I'd probably grow plants outside of my home, and have alchemy as a past-time. I wouldn't really know my way with a weapon, other than a bow, because of the Marksman lineage that all Bosmer seem to have. Eventually, knowing me, I'd have found somebody to teach me healing spells, so then I'd also be a town healer, so people who need healing could come to me, but I'd never ask for payment.

Race: Khajiit (Ohmes-raht)

Province: High Rock

City: I would live in a small camp in the remote areas of the Wrothgarian Mountains

Job: I would be a mercenary and hunter. When I don't have requests for work, I will hunt my dinner. Often with a bow but occasionally I will revert to primal instinct and take down my meal by hand.

Province: Cyrodill

City: Anvil or Imperial City

Race: Wood Elf

Job: I'd run a business much like The Feed Bag, just a little cafe. Maybe a small hotel? I'd enjoy that.

If I could not do that, I'd run a little inn in the middle of nowhere like the Inn of Ill Omen. :celebration:

I would probably reside in Cyrodiil; the less outlandish, the better, even if Cyrodiil is probably more outlandish than it is portrayed in Oblivion. Chorrol would be my ideal city; the people there are quite friendly in-game, it is a beautiful place, and it seems to have less corruption than some of the other cities in Cyrodiil. It seems like a good, honest place to live. I would probably just be an Imperial or a Breton, and I'm not going to claim that I'd be a mage, or an adventurer, or anything particularly special. I'd just have an ordinary job.

So yes, nothing special. :P

Place: I guess i would either live in somewhere in Skyrim or Cyrodiil, perhaps Colovia. Definitley close to a forest or mountain.
Race:I believe my personality would fit best with being a Dunmer; aloof, reclusive yet still proud of my heritage.

As of work I guess i would either be a Scholar or a Woodsman, perhaps a combination? Being both a hunter and interested in history and social studies in real life would make qualified for either I guess.

Likely Cyrodill or some other civilized province like Daggerfell. If Cyrodill, then more then likely Chorrol. I'd likely be a Nord by nature and probably just an average member of the City Watch where the worst I have to beat back in a Goblin incursion.

I would probably be in Cyrodiil, and be a Breton, cause I'm pretty smart, though I'd wish I was a Nord or Argonian. I'd go to the Arcane University for a little bit, the drop out after I'd learned some magic, then try to enlist in the Legion. I would then be rejected, and not let back into the University.

I would then drift around for a little while, staying with friends like Hieronymus Lex, but eventually getting a message that I'd inherited a relative's tower and massive fortune, so I would hire an escort and move out there.

-Province: None (Although Morrowind would be my favorite). Since id'e be a traveling adventurer or merchant guardsman, I would live on the road.

-City: None (I might keep a small apartment in Mournhold, however). Refer to above.

-Race: Dunmer. I have a pretty negative outlook on, well, everything. Plus, I play Dunmer in every Elder Scrolls game.

-Job: Traveling adventurer or merchant guard. I find so many things facinating both in the real world, and in Tamriel, that I could not settle in one place. I don't relish the thought of dangerous bandits; but hey, no one said I have to stick around when that merchant gets attacked. I would just take something valuanle and run! I think I would more likely be an adventure for hire, doing small jobs far and wide. As far as class goes, I would be a spellsword. I love magick, but I'm a sword/heavy armor junkie as well. As a bonus, I would play the bass lute and have an Ohmes-raht girlfriend/wife; depending, of course, on were my travelles take me.

hmm well this requires thought! i know:

Province: i think I would choose Elsweyr, the land of the Khajiit interests me alot.

City: Where else but the city of Rimmen! I love all things that have to do with the Akaviri.

Race: A regular old imperial I think suits me the best.

Job: My main job would be smithing weapons and armor, in Akaviri style of course! I would make Katanas, Dai-Katanas, Wakizashis, No-Ronins, etc as well as akaviri style armors. On the side i'd study the Akaviri influences on Rimmen such as the Temple and Rimmen's architecture.

First what I'd like:

Race- God, preferably the omnipotent variety.

Job- Professional smiter (Though I'm not against smiting people for recreational purposes).

Province- Not applicable, or wherever I'm getting a lackluster number of sacrifices.

City_ Not applicable, or wherever I'm getting a lackluster number of sacrifices.
---
What I'd probably be:

Race- Nord or Imperial.

Job- Farmer or smith.

City- None, I'd live in a small village.

Province- Skyrim, I like the cold :)
