I'll favor the bow > place trap > bow in the open space and dual daggers inside.

Magic sounds interesting this time around, as a single spell can be used in so many ways. Probably go for that.

Trickey decision.... Im thinking dagger, bow, or two handed axe. I dont care for DWing (though it might be better done than in other games)

I like my polearms. I hope there are more than just spears though, glaives ftw.

Other than that I'm planning on dual-wielding maces.

Shoulda had two voting categories, for right and left hand primary weapon set, then right and left hand secondary weapon set.

Primary:
Right hand-- Nothing
Left hand-- Bow

Secondary:
Right hand-- Longsword
Left hand-- Lightning Bolt of Death

I believe in not putting myself in harms way if at all possible.

Why are shortswords missing from this list? You should have either included them or left longsword as sword. We know the difference between claymores, daggers, and other swords.

@Liu Bei: OP completely left out shortswords. A mixed melee and other option would be helpful. Multiple choice would also be good.

Bow and polearm. The bow for ranged and the good bo-staff for melee.

Provided polearms are in of course, if not it's dual-wielding axes for melee.

I think i would've chosen shortsword, but thats not on there.... so i choose bow. But honestly on my first playthrough i'm going for a stealth guy and i'll carry around a bow, a shortsword, and a dagger.

Not officially confirmed, but there was solid evidence in the Art of Skyrim coverage, so the general consesus is that they are back under the Two-Handed skill.

... OK... really? :) I'm not sure that shield bashes are gonna deal damage, they'll just stagger the opponent.

Moar liek swagger amirite?

I was sooo gonna roll a Bosmer Spellshield who's routine going to be more or less like this:
>throw weakness to frost
>frost spell
>spam fire spell
>dual shield bash when they're getting too close (or if dude's a Nord) then promptly back da fuk up like real quick
>frost spell again
>fire spell (holding button down a.k.a. roast 'em good)

Would polearms be two handed then? It would be cool to have a shield with it. And whats the diff between them and spears?

They would most likely be under two handed, though I wish they'd have two handed and one handed spears (like a hasta). And here's a http://www.retromud.org/images/weapons/polearms.gif of all the different kinds of polearms (though they would never add all of them, most likely just halberds and spears like in the past).
