I have no idea since I don't know which ones will turn out useless, but I voted for pole-arm.

I'm absolutely SICK of sword always getting the best selections but since dual wielding is in, I might try it again with a stereotypical ranger Bosmer. But if it's not as in-depth as I would think then I'm switching to a Nord with polearms.

Bow/Invisibility spell is how I rolled in Oblivion and how I plan on rolling during Skyrim. If I can't have my trusty invisibility spell in conjunction with my bow, I will have to go longsword/invisibility instead. I really hope I can use my bow with a spell, but at this point I just don't know.

I'll be going with the bow, I wasn't a big fan of bows in oblivion but I ever since I heard we will have slow-motion i'm very excited!

SPEARS! If no spears, than any type of polearm will do. If there are no polearms, then I'll cry and resentfully use a sword and shield combo.

A dagger, none of that dual-dagger crap. But I will hopefully get to all of them.

And why no shortswords?

A mix, which does not appear to be an option. I will (if it works) go with a Breton who softens things up with a bow, switching to a longsword/shield pairing when things get too close. Magic will be ready for any opening either at range or close.

Mace and a shield for me. Now that we can, mace in the left hand too, make my character left handed, unless it looks very very odd doing it.
