Are you using any texture replacements? Your game looks amazing and runs really well. Mind telling me your computer specs?

Also, welcome to the forums!

No texture replacements but I use http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2672 to "degreen" things abit. I did some adjustment to contrast and color levels in the final cut of the video so that might also contribute.

As for the my spec's it's a box I built a year ago for about 700 worth of parts including shipping. Nothing fancy. I'd have to check exactly what everything is when I got home from work. But that will be around 6am so prolly tomorrow! :sleep2:

Specs as requested.

Motherboard=AMD 790X chipset - specifically the GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P
CPU=AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz 3 x
Ram=4 gigs DDR2 1150 (PC2 9200)
Video=Radeon HD 4870 1gb

For game settings I run in 1280x720 with 2x anti-aliasing and some of the shadow effects trimmed. Out of game setting that might be relevant, I leave my page file off.

Hah, your computer is at least twice as good mine.

Surprising you aren't using any texture replacements, everything looks really sharp.

The weapon is Sydney's 10mm "ultra" SMG. The graphic is changed from the stock game by a mod called https://sites.google.com/site/fo3wanderersedition/. One of a great many things it does is add new models and textures for the game's unique weapons.

I dig it. :thumbsup:
Anyone who isn't a friend of feral ghouls is a friend of mine.

My PC runs Fallout 3 just fine, but I still run it on Xbox 360. I find myself spending more time installing mods than playing the game, and never have time to become immersed in the world.

Yes it's easy to get carried away with the mods. A good method is to pick a number of mods you're going to have like 5 or 10. Then find the best ones you can to fill that number. Install and get them working with each other. Then pick a point in the future where you allow yourself to have more like say level 30 or after you've progressed the plot to a certain point.

I remember the first time I went mod crazy on a game(Morrowind). I installed like 100 things at once and every single mod got into a fight with every other mod. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Outstanding. Also a perfect example of what mods can do to improve an already awesome game :foodndrink:
