You only just noticed that - skyrim edition

Post » Fri Nov 15, 2013 7:34 pm

So I only just today realised you can become a non-vampire cannibal by going to the hall of the dead in markarth. I can't even say I "realised it", a friend of mine told me when I was bemoaning how you can't be a cannibal unless you're a vampire ( and how I hate vampires but love cannibals). Well now I'm a dawnguard cannibal that eats vampires.

Life is great.

Been playing this game since release heavily and just for whatever reason never did that quest or even heard about it.

What is something you just noticed? I honestly still seem to run into something every day.

I only just realized yesterday, after two+ playthroughs, that it's chitin armor! When this whole time, my eyes decieved me and I thought it was chitlin armor. With an L.

Disclaimers please. I now have coffee in my keyboard.

I just tried using a thrall anchor for the first time. I brought Malkoran to my basemant at Windstad Manor. Conjured two Dremoras to cancel my thrall Dead Thrall spell on Malkoran. Forgot that he releases his shade when he dies. Oops, have to kill his shade now. Forgot that his shade uses Fireball spells. "Discovered" that his shade blasting fireballs in my basemant makes a huge mess that I have to clean up! Goblets, pots, plates everywhere! Argh. I don't need my virtual basemant to look like my real basemant.

Didn't we already have a thread like this in the spoiler section? Speaking of, this so needs to go in the spoiler section.

 Thanks for that.

It's probably because of my Spelling Nazi tendencies, but am I really the only one that doesn't make these kind of mistakes? Especially something as exotic as "Khajiit."

OK. This just took me by surprise. There is a word wall right by Meridia's Beacon!

In all my time playing, I have never noticed that before! I was running down the path near there on my way to Solitude when I started hearing the Dragon Wall chant. I'm like wtf? So I start looking around and... voila! One Dragon Shout learned :)

ha very strange spot indeed....the first time I found it I thought WTF is a word wall doing here?

This should be me moved to spoiler section even though the game's 2 years old as clearly not everyone has seen everything.

heh, well not real life cannibals, I like the macabre literary romance of like hillbilly cannibals or tribal savage cannibals etc etc. I don't approve of real life cannibalism.
Hey people can like vampires, so why not?

I just want to reiterate that my orc barbarian eats vampires, how is this not awesome? Why isn't everyone doing this and constantly talking about it?

Anyway yeah I guess it should be moved, I don't know. I just know I keep searching new posts and coming across the fallout 3 version and getting exciting each time because I just noticed something in skyrim, to then be disappointed when I realise what subforum it's in.

Judging by several people's misreading of in-game names, I just noticed that not everone that plays this game has the luxury of a 1080p monitor (or a platform that supports it). What a shame.

That there was a gate to Hammerfell.

And that there is no return journey from Falkreath to any of the major cities.

ha a bit awesome but my Orc prefers fresh flesh, not dead cold flesh that's be rotting for centuries

Imagine someone taking a slice of ham (people are like pork) then storing it in a dusty old cellar for generations and you come across it and eat it...no thanks.

Well it's preserved somehow (they aren't skeletons), so maybe it ages well like a fine cheese?

I'm more thinking of the image of a vampire sneaking up on my orc, it gapes it's mouth all flamboyantly to bite his neck but then the orc turns, catches him by the throat, pounds his head in with a warhammer, drops him to the floor and then casually just crouches down and eats him. Then burps.

I mean the badassery, more so than the taste.

I hope you meant to say, "(People are like pork, or so I imagine)"

I recently noticed that there are some disturbing comments in this thread.

Also, I have recently noticed that dragons seem to attack me less lately favoring attacking bears and other wild life near to my location. I would say 3 of the last 4 dragons I have killed did not attack me at all! Very strange.

haha I hear you....you should knock out his fangs with your fists like Robbaz

:lmao:

You mean you don't want to come by for dinner? I'm having liver with fava beans and a nice chianti :liplick:

I don't personally know people are pork and don't dine on swine anyway (like the original white meat not the other ha) but I remember watching a documentary where an old cannibal tribesman said people taste like pig, plus it makes sense given that our flesh is very similar in ways.

I've noticed for a while that it's actually hard to get a dragon's attention, they will usually be a km or so away attacking something else and you pretty much have to sprint over and dragonrend them for them to pay attention to you. Often they just mosey off before you get there, lol.
