I see what you did there!

Well, I'm 32 and I normally do like to stay close to that. I like my age! But sometimes, for RP purposes, I'll knock my character's age down to say 22-24 as it seems less believable in certain settings that a 32 year-old woman in that particular game world would be unmarried and not have a herd of children by that age. Or maybe that's just due to my lack of talent for creating a fitting backstory for an older woman (I don't want to kill off kids or husbands).

I'd definitely like to see more older characters though, and I'm thinking alot about making a much older female in Skyrim and basing her a bit off of Flemeth from Dragon Age. She was a bada$$ witch!

Yes! I intend to play as Flemeth!! Remember, she can be any age because she lives through her daughters! LOL

My characters are as old as I feel - which makes them mid 30s. I'm actually mid 20s.

I haven't yet. She's always much younger because of the physical activity required in combat. I'm thinking about a Gandalf-type character now for a future player though. She'll be a mage and will need to only do physically what would be possible for her age...no jumping off high places, that kind of thing.

Oblivion made it easy to look older or younger than you really are when you created your char. But AFAIK this hadn't an effect on the characters strenght or other skills, it just changed your appearance. I tried to look as nearly as I do in reality (which consumed quiet a lot of time). But more important as your looks is probably the way you play the game. Especially when you play games where you have to make decision that influence your way later. This somehow shows you old (wise) or young (unsophisticated) you really are.

LOL! Yes!

I think I'm leaning toward DA 2 Flemeth...similar face, long white hair, yet magically large and perky boobs.

I usually play as a character in their young 20's. I do that just because there's more leeway with roleplaying, though technically it is close to my real age(teenager).

I'm 20 but I like to make older characters, early to late 30's usually.

According to http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Real_Barenziah elves are somewhat less fertile than humans(can expect 4 children if they are luckey) and seem to have a harder time getting pregnant so if you play as a mer you might have your answer there.

Yeah, haha. I noticed you talking about it in the other thread and decided to beat you to the punch.

I'd give you an example story you could follow but I know how much people hate spoilers and I'm not in the mood to deal with a bunch of tantrums right now.

That's a good idea! I would too, particularly an elderly (male) wizard whom I can call my mentor.

I don't know why... that's just always been something I enjoyed.

I enjoy Tactical RPGs, and 90% of them force you to play as an effeminate 15-year old she-boy, so when the opportunity comes along to play as the grown man that I am I take advantage of it.
