Don't believe anything has been announced yet. I'd be happy with a cloth map of Skyrim. Maybe a dragon soul if they could spare it too.

You mean like a special dragon mount and a sword with + 5 agility?

I sure hope Bethesda doesn't start doing one of those gimicky things.

Edit- If you meant CE, then I would hope for lots of goodies though :P. (not in game)

Don't think oblivion had any special pre-order bonus so i doubt skyrim will. But free horse armor would be nice

A set of decent armor to start off with might not be so bad. Not too good though, I'd still want to have to work towards getting the really good stuff.

I really hope they don't do in game items/weapons preorder bonuses. I think it is cheesy and tacky, and skyrim can sell on it's own. I honestly hate this trend of giving all these different little packs, and then latter charging $1-2 for it. That stuff should just be in the game at launch for everyone. Now if they want to give me a preorder bonus, how about "Preorder your game now, and get $10 off". Now that's a preorder bonus.

Now, there's an idea I can get behind. As someone who almost never has money, 10 dollars sounds all right with me.

I'm in the same boat! If games did this though, I'd be more likely to preorder more games, rather than waiting a year for a price drop. I only buy about 3 games full price the whole year, every other game I'm playing now is "new" to me, but are over 1-5 years old.

@andodalf I heard ya! I just didn't know if it's true or not! Lol. Well that's a good sign of not having cheesy dlc. I'd Definetly consider a map, but I'd need to see a pic and read a description first. Gamespot always has dlc pack type preorder stuff too, so them having a map makes me happy :).

NO.

Does anyone else just absolutely hate the whole Gamestop exclusive in-game bonuses for pre-orders? The entire concept is just disgusting to me. I hate it, and I would be really disappointed if Bethesda did this. Out of game bonus for pre-ordering? Fine. But in-game? That's just screwed up, denying some content to people who don't pre-order. Pathetic.

No, I hope there are no pre-order bonuses at all. A collector's edition yes, pre-order bonuses no.

I'm slightly biased considering I'm pre-ordering from Gamestop already, but I don't see a problem with an in-game bonus as long as Bethesda releases it at a later date for a small amount of money or even for free if they're cool about it.

Why not? Preordering the game online doesn't cost anything and you can cancel your preorder at any time.

Fallout New Vegas had, starting to get popular, a huge piece of :brokencomputer: in my opinion.
As in if you buy the game from our store you get a stupid overpowered item as a free add on, if you buy from another you get their.

To you it is. I can't say the same about many others who actually enjoy having some good starter gear.

As I recall Gamestop doesn't stock PC games, so would I even be ABLE to preorder the PC version there?

And I tend to agree, in game bonus isn't cool...
