I like magic because it has n weight and stronger, though I guess I sometimes use the steel warhammer.

What about you?

Magic. Weaponry is for the savages. If I do require a weapon, I have the undead and conjured Dremora Lords.

I play a paladin so I use a hammer and restoration magic with heavy armour.

Magic is more interesting. When I do go combat I prefer to use a two handed weapon, at least that way it's exciting.

Proper men/women use good honest flesh and steel, none of that magic nonsense, so I mainly use a sword/shield combo and fight my enemies like a man.

Dual Wield weapons, and some magic is my preference.

For some reason I'm not a fan of Archery in Skyrim, when I loved it in Morrowind and Oblivion.

Iv tried a pure mage but I'm a warrior at heart and love a killcam of me sticking my weapon in someone.

Sword and board, with a bow strapped to my back. It's all I need.

All of my characters have been one-handed weapon (right hand) + magic (left hand). The magic is mostly destruction, but once I did conjuration instead.

I added bows to the mix a few times, including my current character. Once they get close enough, or there are 2+ to fight at once, I switch to the sword or war axe and use the left hand for destruction and healing. Thanks to the More Hotkeys Please mod, I can "auto-cast and re-equip last" a shield or muffle spell.

Magic. I love mental fireworks, especially when made of pure elemental cold. It's also versatile.

I usually start out with a battlemage(sword+magic used equally), though. Then I get into pure mages when I more or less know the game's mechanics.

My characters are savages and barbarians and proud of it! I don't even use a follower that uses magic. I have a character now that don't even use the shout (didn't start MQ). He's just an ordinary guy that uses a bow and two-handed sword. He gathers and crafts everything, including weapons and armors for his followers. He will buy soul gems and use enchanting station but that's about as close to magic as he will get. Just love Fire and/or Shock enchanted weapons. :D

I will eventually try a mage type character but right now it does not interest me.

Magic, although I do carry a sword for when a personal touch is called as is the case for such savage creatures as the pretentious Nazeem the odorous Mogrul or the nagging old hag of Maven black-briar.

Well, the part about being stronger depends on the school(s) you are talking about. None the less, for me, it depends on the character and their personality.

My favourites are, in no particular order:

1) 2 handed greatsword.

2) Sword and Conjuration

3) Bow and Daggers

4) Dual Wielding Katanas

Magic for the most part, always carry a dagger and use bound bow for applying poisons from range.
