Do you prefer single player or multi player games?

As per title. I personally prefer single player and am really not into multi player except for motor racing games. Which do you prefer and what sort of games are your favourites?

I like a mix, but I prefer single player, with an optional multiplayer that allows me to pick who comes into my game.

I play most SP games, but I don't mind multiplayer, depending on how its done.

Multiplayer, I love to outwit others. I also enjoy working with others (in games) to accomplish a task at hand and defeat an enemy.

Setting up ambushes and roadblocks are my krews specialty.

Single Player by a longshot. I haven't really played any multiplayer game this year at all. Did have some fun with L4D2 and Trine 2 in late 2013 though.

I like single-players better, but they don't generally keep me as long, so I end up spending much more time in multiplayers.

I've been playing single-player games since I was a kid, so I'd prefer them over multiplayer.

There's a time for both. Single players are great for immersing yourself in, but sometimes the adrenaline-pumping action of Battlefield or CoD is just what I need.

Of everything, my favourite type is multiplayer split-screen. Minecraft by myself is less than half as fun as playing it with my wife. Lego Marvel Super Heroes is all about playing with friends. CoD Zombies with mates on a sofa is awesome. Even going back to the SNES days, Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario were always better with a friend. Same with Streets of Rage, Golden Axe...

Basically, playing games with friends in the same room trumps all.

A good mix of both is nice. As long as there's some co op I'm good.

I like both, I mainly play single player, but I enjoy a lot of multiplayer games, especially co-op ones. I enjoy competitive multiplayer as well though.

So yeah, both. When I judge a game I mainly judge it by it's single player stuff though.
