Do you regret your username?

Post » Sun Oct 04, 2009 7:14 pm

Nope. Easy to type, dunno why people have such a hard time with it, the vowel-combos are pretty symmetrical.

Unusual enough that it usually isn't used on what few sites I register on that need a screen name.

Plus, it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaisiagae. Or something.

http://www.econsultant.com/sniglets/sniglets-starting-with-p.html apparently has meaning also. :P (scroll down to phlooph)

I guess I'm a fart noise...

I love this name. Seriously, it's all dramatic when I want it to be, it can be used for puns ('You defaulted to Defaulted, then?'), it shares the first letter with my last name, and beyond that, I have all my other nicknames like Sig God and the such if I get bored of being called Defaulted.

Well, you can't change your username. You can get people to refer to you by another name, which is basically the same thing for all intents and purposes.

I'd like to have it shortened to just "Undone", but meh

I must be dyslexic or something because i've been here (on and off) for 5-6 years and It finally dawned on me that your name is the_undone_one

I always thought it was like thundeon or something. No joke. Im an idiot.

Anyways, my name is a perfect representation of who I am. I design. My name is Mike. So Mikedzines

I've heard a lot of interesting pronunciations like Mike de Zeenus or Mike Dezeens (which i sometimes use for kicks).

I hope everyone knows me as Mikedzines at some point. :)

Then I'll just go sit in a corner in the fetal position crying about why Mewtwo was removed from Super Smash Brothers

I actually don't care that much about my username, but if I did that would be the first reason.

Aw man, now it makes sense. I always read your name as Miked (as in, if mike was a verb, miked would be its past participle) and then 'zines as in the common shortening of "fanzine" or "magazine".

I mean, I figured you were called Mike, but the rest was just a mystery to me :P

I made the same mistake. This lead to some interesting situations of me stalking someone on the internet that I thought was a BGSFer but it ended up being some poor bastard with the username Miked on another website.
