Or is it a separate install? Reason I ask, I had to do that thing recently. Also, my CK did not upgrade
when the 1.9 hit. Just like with the 1.8X.
I cannot find the CK on Steam. The wiki sez look under VIEW for TOOLS. There is no TOOLS under
VIEW, at least not for me.
Or should I just go gripe at Steam support?

CK was a separate install for me from Steam.
It is found under the Library tab in the section called "Tools".

As a little bit of heads up(yeah I know you haven't done this): DO NOT REINSTALL/UNINSTALL THE CK.
You are causing more trouble for yourself if you do..

Tools is under Library not view.
