You say its not dark enough......

Yet, I have my TV on 70 percent brightness, and my game on the normal brightness, and when I go through 90 percent oif the caves / dungeons, i cant see 2 ft in front of me. For example, the cave right next to Riverwood, on the way from Helgen, I took all the torches down, and had to squint to even make out the ground beneath me.....or walking from Riverwood to Solitude, its so dark at the moment, I actually had to pull out a torch. Did they darken up the game in recent updates, or what? Also, I was recently walking passed a house when it was night time, and the moon was hitting the backside of the house, casting a shadow and when i walked into the shadow of that house, it was dark as dark can be.

Is your room dark enough?
On day time I have to shut the window completely to be able to see in-game in the dark.

Oh I have no problem with how dark it is, but I see a lot of people complaining that its not dark enough at times, while i understand that some caves, are not dark enough, the majority are quite dark. I love how dark most of the dungeons are, especially wiht my thief i am recently using .

Do you have Dawnguard? Once I downloaded Dawnguard I noticed that the game seemed to be " darker " in respect to caves, dungeons etc...etc... It doesn't seem to be over done but just enough to make the game world darker when it's night or when in an enclosed area like a cave. Not complaining or anything, I like the fact that it seems to have gotten darker. Really makes traveling at night a little more interesting :D

Hooray! I thought I was just seeing things, but yeah, I definitely noticed that after I downloaded DG the game seemed to be darker in general. It seems perfect now.

My only problem with the dark is that it goes almost pitch black after looking at/near a light source, it might add a sense of realism but i spend most time against fire breathing dragons running around in circles completely blind.
