You should give me a refund

Post » Thu Oct 28, 2010 5:26 pm

So, this game was released what...october 2010?

And the game still has so many bugs, crashes, freezes, and glitches?

Since when is the general public your quality control team, your play testers?

When will my game stop freezing every time I try to sell items to the lady at the NCR fort's barracks?

Where is the refund that any and all who own the game should have been given months and months ago?

Hell, even Dragon Age 2 isn't this bad..

This is what happens when companies like Bethesda try to compete with companies like Treyarch/Infinity Ward/Activision/EA, ocassionally games are released far before they should be. Hiccups like this occur at least once with every major gaming company. All we can do as consumers is moan, groan, and otherwise complain.. or just svck it up, deal with it, and try to make the best of it. At least they're making an attempt to find fixes ASAP, theres a couple gaming companies that went down hard because of hiccups like this and they just didn't feel like dealing with it.

Your definition of ASAP wildly differs from mine. Game was released in October. Fans have been screaming here for 6 months and they've barely been the faintest response from the developers. We were kept in the dark for months and months at a time, then fed inadequate and buggy patches and dlc.

If I said i'm going to eat ASAP (using your definition)

3 weeks later you'd find me dead.

^fail

Unless you already knew that and are referring to the patch to FIX the patch, if that's the case, then I fail. :3

ASAP referring to As Soon As Possible, ever think that maybe Microsoft authorising the patch or whoever created the patch where having problems isolating said bugs, and finding a fix for them? You need to think beyond what you want right now and think about why it's taking them so long to find a fix for the game killing bugs that came with this game, because I don't know about you, but it's pretty dang near impossible to fix a game killing bug in a days time.

PS- It's not my definition that differs, it's yours and the fact you want what you want right now and are too impatient to wait.

A fix is a fix, they take time, the general public doesn't understand this. They want it now, and not later. We're just lucky they already have a fixed prepared for this fix.

I don't see what's to understand. I want the fix now because when I bought the game Bethesda wanted my money now.
Sure, fixing a bug takes a while, but when I bought my copy of the game there was nothing on the back that said "by the way, we're not actually finished yet, maybe in a year or so" so I don't really see why there should be anything so major to fix. It's been said over and over again, this game came out too soon, and we're all just svckers that paid $50 to test their game for them. I'd even venture to say we're doing a better job than their paid testers if they didn't notice such a catastrophic error as the one that was in the "fix" today.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I was talking about the recent bugs, that came after the patch that fixed the majority of the game-killing bugs.

On that note, trust me, I agree. I paid 80$ for my Collector's, but I really dont regret it, because I still find a way to enjoy the game.
