You, sir, have cat feet.

The hands, yes, but the angle of his thighs actually makes me think they went with beast legs on this one, is that just me?

I'm not fussed if they do it like Oblivion or Morrowind, either way is fine with me.

Argonians aren't real lizards. This is Nirn not Earth. Argonians don't have to be like the lizards we have on Earth. they are there own species. they can have digitigrade if they want to lol. it would still make sence. there also hasn't realy been anything reptile or amphibious besides dragons. so there isn't anything to compare them to. Unless we get a game that is in the Black Marsh. but I think I'd would like to see the next game in Elswyre.

Real lizards don't talk or use magic either, or subconsciously take orders from ancient sentient trees. Not disagreeing, just sayin.

I completely understand. If Bethesda wanted dragons to be "realistic" then they would have briastbones the size of a giraffe's neck sticking out of their chest in order to support enough muscle mass to even lift those huge wings. It's just that I've heard arguments that Morrowind argonians look more "realistic" with their digitigrade legs. "Real" lizards don't have ankles functioning as reverse knees nor do they walk on their toes. I wouldn't mind large lizard feet, I just would rather they not waddle like ducks(because seriously, who would take a duck-walking dragonborn seriously).:P

They certainly are, but he could just be bending his knees a little.

I would like them to have differently structured legs, they are beast races after all. Not as extreme as morrowind though and they definitely should have a better walking animation but that would be a given lol.

What style of legs do you want to see on the Khajiit and Argonians in Skyrim?

beast, but only if there is cool custom armor and stuff

I actually liked morrowind legs on khajjit and the way they were walking. Much better this than nothing distinguishing them from men and mer like in oblivion.

Also, I always imagined how it would be cool if khajiits had some kind of extra 'fast-run' option that would allowed them to run really fast on four legs. I saw it in the pictures in The Redguard comic book (when Cyrus freed khajiit slaves in Morrowind) and completely fell in love with the idea :goodjob:

I won't mind seeing digitigrade legs on khajit, but they better not be on argonians. Real lizards don't have digitigrade legs.

They don't have human-like legs either.

But since there's an option for it, I'd say they should have no legs, they should just levitate everywhere, taunting those who wanted levitation in the game. ust kidding. I'd like Khajiit to have digitigrade legs like in Morrowind, with better animations, of course, but that should be obvious, Argonians on the other hand are a bit harder, it doesn't quite make sense for them to have legs like in Morrowind, but it definitely doesn't make sense for their feet to be identical to human feet either. They could use the same animations as other races but they need slightly different structured feet.

Beast Legs.

I would also personally like it if, Khajiit when sprinting at full speed were to run on all fours

I'd prefer a skeletal structure that implied that they were different from the other races. Even if it was as bad as in Morrowind. In Oblivion, the Khajiit looked like Puss in Boots....

As an aside, isn't it in the lore that Argonians are humans that have turned into lizard men? There is a book somewhere that kind of mentions that.

Beast legs without the ridiculous walk animation from Morrowind.

Yes! Lizardy feet and paws! ..but without the 'Please excuse me, but I have a stick lodged in my butt' walk. My friend and I joked that they should have had that anim in Oblivion, to compensate for my lizard 'hiding' a lockpick when he went to jail. xD

I want something in between, not as ridiculous as Morrowind, and not as plain as in Oblivion.

Beast legs, digigrade. Along with the disadvantages they had, ala no boots on certain races*

Need boots. Already losing too many enchantment slots with the lame armor change.

mix of morrowind and oblivion i want them to have the bent legs and more animal like feet catlike for khajiit and birdlike for argonians. but i dont want there legs so sprawled out to the side it made them look too beastly like there owners where the khajiit and argonian versions of australopithecus.

I agree the legs in Morrowind was also of the wrong shape, the angle was wrong and make them more like insect legs. this http://www.checkitplanner.com/captivate/intro/work.htm Animation show how they could be, as they go upright they would be a bit straighter than a cats back legs.
Yes this design has a downside the shins are shorter than on humans so fitting normal pants on her would not work well. However as greaves is gone in Skyrim, most cuirasses have skirts and the ladies wear dresses she would be just as happy.

as said by so many, natural looking beast legs. they are humanoid beasts, and their legs should represent that by looking animal-like, but also natural, not exaggerated.

But the beast walking animation in ES III was superior to the human walking animation. :grad:
Beasts looked imo cute with that, Humans seemed to have a stick in their butt.

Where's the Beast Legs ala Skyrim option? I'd like to see them come up with something new and better, not bring anything from past games in. The older models worked for the character models of the game they were created for. I'd like to see them take advantage of Skyrim's updated graphics.

Beast legs without the ridiculous walk animation from Morrowind.

This. Beast legs would make those races more unique and exotic, but morrowind's walking animation made look like if they just got... oh nevermind I won't say that here, you know what I mean.

Modern lizards may not have digitigrade legs, but many dinosaurs, usually predatory dinosaurs, did.
