If you slay a Dragon attacking a town will the townsfolk rew

Post » Sun Dec 19, 2010 7:27 am

Like if a dragon comes out of nowhere and you slay it before it causes to much damage to a town or city once you slay it do you think we will get rewards and the townsfolk will come out clapping because somthing like that would make me feel the dragon was worth killing wasting arrows weapns etc to kill it.

I don't think that they will let you killed the dragon, I think that they attack in the air for the most part

they probably will. Most likely small stuff like a few gold coins, some potions, or arrows.

They will stand in front of the dragon without a care in the world and go "I saw a mudcrab the other day..."

Actually, I'm hoping they'll do something cooler like disintegrate into ashes and blow away in the wind. After seeing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg1Vm_LydFQ I'm not exactly hopeful for any large-body ragdolls (or lack thereof) from Bethesda. :P

Lol, luckily enough, Dagon wasn't meant to be killed, the dragons are. I'm expecting ragdolls but it would be cool to see them turn to ash.

At least have the prettiest maiden in the town, or of my own choosing, plant a visible smoochie (? you know, "kiss mark") on my chin for rescuing them. I wouldn't wash for days :P
Achievement: Have x number of smoochies visible at the same time :P

Turning to ash confirmed in OXM, if you can believe anything in the magazines.

[homer] mmmmm roast dragon aragglglglargl [/homer]

It'd be nice, but I'm skeptical as I haven't seen too much promise from the company when it comes to making the PC feel significant after large accomplishments

i read in a magazine that all you have to do is get the dragon's attention and it will attack you "coming to the ground with a crashing thud"

If they are anything like the townsfolk in Fable, you'll get a bill for roof repairs.
