This pretty much puts an end to that argument. They look exactly the same.

Thats a no brainer. Most multiplatform game is designed around the weakest platform (things like memory constraint, disc space, overall power), code the game (not for any particular system) then have tools to build the game into a playable format for any of the systems. Way too much man hours to code 3 games of the same game.

That's not what everyone was saying before.

Cevat lied through his teeth. I don't blame him though, since I can sense the pressure he is getting from EA. Crytek should abandon EA like they did with Ubisoft. EA is only damaging Crytek's vision by forcing them to cater to ancient hardware.

Even though the three versions are quite similar, I can't understand why people think the graphics for PC are bad. Don't get me wrong, I'm a PC gamer myself, but I think it's so obvious that Crysis 2 is miles ahead compared to any other FPS. The only game which will be able to beat this is Battlefield 3. Seriously. We have DX9 now: it can only get better. Patience people for the love of Prophet.

At the end of the day, they will make better sales than Crysis 1 due to sales on consoles.

More sales = more money.

Now tell me, if you piss off a community to make more money, as a business, would you?

I think you mean DX11. Because we've had DX9 since 2002...

Do you mean Crytek is doing us a favor by using dx9 and let us dig out the old 7800 and play the game?
Or do you mean the game is good enough that its using dx9 instead of dx8?

You're obviously being sarcastic, which is fine, because this whole forum is, but I was trying to say even though the game is in DX9, it still looks great. This alleged patch may even improve things more.

If you look at the ceilings in the parking garage they actually look better on the x box they look too bright on PC when they should be in shadow. Thats the only big difference I can spot and it goes against PC (but what settings is it on?)

Do I own the company or is it owned by shareholders? If I own it I can do what I like as long as I still make enough money to live as I want. Chasing uber money usually just makes people fat (or underweight) stressed and dead anyway.

Plus why would I want to piss about programming for the cell and for the consoles limitations?

If it were me and I could do it financially I think I would do PC but not cos of community, just cos I think it would be more fun.

Exactly if DX11 brings Crysis 2 up to BF3's visual standards you will see the complaints disappear overnight.

LOL on BF3 beats Crysis 2 comparing issue.

Not a fan of the BF series but I dare not compare BF titles to Crysis. For me it's like Apples and Oranges.
on topic, just wish it had Dx11... Would really have been better EA/Crytek... really would have been better and not at the least felt the 'console port' issue down my veins.
