I talk just as if I'm really there, so I imagine if I were in real life melee combat, I'd say similar things. Most of them aren't repeatable here, though. I'm generally completely nice, my character is only good, but when I'm in combat, I start to yell obscenities at the enemy a lot.

I swear at enemies that make me waste alot of potions or move around too much. And let out a triumphant yowl when I finally mash their face in

Meh, we're all a little crazy. ;) And yes, I talk to Lydia all the time--"Would you move your enormous Nord butt out of my way!", "Stop clearing your throat!", "Lydia, I swear if you bogart one more bandit...."--little endearments like that. I also say rude things to bad guys when I kill them and scared a friend of mine whooping--I got a most excellent long-distance shot off giving a bandit an arrow to the family jewels. If an arrow to the knee gets you a town guard position, that guy should've been made a Jarl someplace if he hadn't shortly afterwards become fatally dead.

Yes I talk to myself while I play. It helps with Immersion and tends to give me a greater connection to my charecter.

I tend to mutter to myself from time to time, mostly in English, kinda like "thinking aloud as the character I'm playing". It does help the immersion - surprising things have more impact when you hear yourself say "what the hell is that?" and imagine that your character just gasped it.

Whenever I'm pissed off, though, I tend to swear fiercely - and in Finnish, of course. Swearing loses its power if you don't do it in your native language. Especially if said native language is Finnish, where every second word is a curse word anyway.

Lol, off topic, but I have Finnish friends who I've noticed the same thing about. I really wish English swear words sounded as fierce, haha.

While running through a city and bumping into guards:

Guard 1: "I used to be an adventurer like you..."
Me (out loud): "Shut up"
Guard 2: "I mostly deal with petty thievery..."
Me: "I said shut up"

In a cave sneaking around:

Bandit 1: "Huh? what was that?"
Me: "Nothing, nothing at all. Just look the other way...that's right..."
30x Backstab Damage!
Bandit 2: "I'll find whoever did this"
30x Backstab Damage!
Me: "Nope. You won't"

Does that count?

Most of the time am laughing. But when i was in Whiterun in the Yarls house his kid came up to me saying something along thie lines of licking his fathers boots. I went mental, swearing & chasing him down trying to batter the crap out of him, I didnt care if the whole town came after me. I even spent ten minutes on god mode just slapping him . Swearing at the screen, my cat did a runner upon hearing the rage. So yeah in a way i was talking to myself. Its a dam shame i couldn't kill the little f@@ker. While battering the crap out of him i was saying to him ya never gonna be a yarl if i had my way.

I only talk to myself when I have something important to say and there is no one else around to hear it.

Shut up, you!

No, You shut up! You're the one always blabbing away at this and that!

That's a fairly good point... Should we tell them about that thing we found at that one place?

No! Shut up!! This isn't the spoilers section.

Okay.

Like I said, only important things.

LOL It's funny cuz when gaming, I never thought I would talk to myself, now I have to force myself from NOT talking cuz my roommate would think I'm mad. LOL
Especially during dragon fights .. "No no nonononono, not the face, NOT THE FACE!!! " *Dragon breath right in my friggin' face..* *dies* LOL

PS. And it's weird how I mutter all these things in English (and my native language is NOT english.. )

Yet another reason I love this game. Finding people on these forums that I can relate to. I thought I was the only one talking to either the tv or my followers. The funniest thing that cracked me up was when I was sneaking through a dungeon. It was real quiet. Then I heard Lydia's armor rattle. I said "shh. be bery bery quiet. I'm hunting bandits." Elmer Fudd ftw.

I laugh at this one alot.. lol ;)

Ive caught myself walking away from the PC to make a cup of tea, saying out loud ... "yeh, then maybe I can take that journey and try that new city, might be a good idea" as I swing away from my PC chair :)

I also "tut" allot, rather than much internal dialogue.

Oh, also when a woman follower says "what can I give you" when you want to pass or take gear, I have said out loud in a Harry Hill voice ... "your innocents darlin' " and other such innuendo for a personal cheap laugh ..... (UK thing with Harry Hill) etc.

I have to go now though, my cat asked me to get some sleep ...

Olfina Gray-Mane: "What ? You can't stand the size of a strong Nord woman ?"

Me: "Actually i can."

Olfina Gray-Mane: *says the same thing all the time*

Me: "I have already said that i can damnit !!!"

---------------------------------------

I also do this when i'm walking in the Roads going to a city or exploring, then i see a Noble, i go next to him and try to talk to him, then he says something like that: "You are disturbing me peasant, go away before i order my bodyguard to kill you."

Then i say: What the hell ? Just because you have a bodyguard you think you have the right to talk to me like this ? that you are awesome ? I want to see you say that without your little bodyguard.

So, i save, then i unsheat my sword, kill the body guard, then i pick my bow and shoot the Noble that is running.
Who's going to kill who now you stupid ignorant [censored] ?!

Then of course, i reload my last save, and then i keep walking as if nothing happened. ;)

I kinda like this "Save Moments" that i do when i'm angry, because it looks like it was just in my (character) mind, as if i wanted to do that, and i was thinking in doing that, but then i didn't.
There are some movies that make this.

:)

It's good to see that i'm not the only one who do this.

Too many stuff to remember and quote it here, but one thing again and again: when my summons (or, not that often, NPCs) get in the way. Especially the summons tend to block tunnels ect all the time. I yell at them to move out off the way.

Sometimes I do. No you don't. Well, I really...SHUT UP. Stop telling them about me...j/k
Seriously, I yell at my companion usually along the line of 'where the hell are you?' Or I yell at the battle dog to stop randomly barking when I'm trying to sneak up on people.

"I can't wait to count out yer coin!" I'll often answer: "I can't wait for you to paint my blade red."

"I'll show you what a real orc can do." "Real one? Fake one? You're still going to die."

"Just die already" "you forgot to say please."

I usually say something like: "come here you little [censored] son of a [censored]" or "what the [censored]?! How could that little bas***d kill me?! I've got [censored] level 54, lots of [censored] life, and I changed into a [censored] werewolf, yet [censored] bandit [censored] kills me!" or "What the [censored] is wrong with that [censored] dragon?! Why doesn't this [censored] attack me?! but I say all of this in Polish as it is my first language.

Many expletives, usually aimed at Lydia and her would-be-hilarious-if-not-so-[censored]-annoying tendency to set off traps, often in my face.
