Nah, this is not about madness, that's a given, we're playing mages and killing dragons.

My question here is what are the kinds of things you say, especially words that have caused you to laugh?

I'll start, I was just wandering through a crypt killing draugrs for sword practice, entered one section and noticed a draugr still at rest, I swung with the sword as the draugr began to move, with the words "Please, don't get up on my account."

When sneak attacking grounded dragons, I keep hoping that I don't move too close or that I hit the right spot. Because dragons are so huge, I'm not sure where to hit and how close I can get and not "bump" into them causing me to be detected.

I like to roleplay with myself while in the bath.
Makes it feel.. Less lonely.

I like to think I'm talking to an audience. Usually because I'm recording my LP.

Thats not talking to yourself, thats talking to the game... its different. I talk to the game all the time. Yelling at my wife when I can't find her in the house, mocking dead things, cussing out gaurds who talk about their knees, telling the little kids to leave me alone, those kinds of things. Talking to yourself is a bit diferent though. Like when you do something stupid, that you know is stupid, and you knew was going to be stupid, and you die becasue of it and you start calling yourself an idiot. Thats talking to yourself... and I do that, too... but then I talk to myself outside of games, as well, so there ya go. Sometimes I'll actually have conversations. But no, I'm not crazy. I just have a tendancy for deep thoughts, and am thus able to converse with myself between the ego and id. Such is not as rare, or as odd, as many "normal" people would have you believe... but thats all beside the point.

"Hmm... Do I talk to myself? No. Not really..."

From time to time, some battle cries.

I always role play. Calling people [censored]es when they talk back to me and such. So much fun.

I will sometimes comment to my wife when she says "My love" something like that is nice hon.. I yell at Lydia at times..

When I am fighting I will say things like.. Your out of there chump and when I Dragon shout someone off a cliff I will laugh and say things like see ya. Also if I sneak up on someone and one shot them with a arrow I say things like.. YOU GO SOO OWNED! lol

Expletives, lots of expletives.

"shut up nazeem!"

I talk to myself (not aloud, just in my mind) all the time while playing, usually commenting on NPCs or when I discover something good or impressive. Usually I manage to stay in character, too

I posted this somewhere else, but oh well. I have a Nord character I roleplay as German named Hans Gruubenstein. I talk when I'm playing that character all the time in a ridiculous German falsetto.

Them: "You're gonna die(or some such nonsense)!"
Me:"Ha ha ha, I don't sink so. We are zee comedian, ja? Das reeeally funny."

or

"We will battle...unt...I shall prevail."

There's more, but it's usually spur of the moment.

When people talk smack I always say "shut up [censored]"

When I shoot an arrow in a bandit's royal clockwork, I normally say "Oh, I'm sorry.. did that hurt?" .. or when I'm sneaking, and a NPC says "huh?", I say "HUH!?!"... pretty lame, I know -_-

Also, if I shout or bash someone off a cliff or ledge: Peace, bit*h!

"I have nothing more to say to you."
*Renegade interrupt flashes
*Fus-Roh-Dahs NPC off cliff
"How 'bout goodbye?"

The kids get to me i must admit

Kid runs up and starts talking trash
me: "wtf!?"
kid says something else
me: "Mutha f*"
kid runs away
me: "get back here you little f'er"

Also now call every dungeon dweller 'skeeza' from watching force2strategy letsplay on youtube. He calls rats skeeza's (instead of skeever). So when i go through any dungeon i sometimes "where the f are these little skeezas?" "come at me skeeza" etc

Yet another reason I love this game. Finding people on these forums that I can relate to. I thought I was the only one talking to either the tv or my followers. The funniest thing that cracked me up was when I was sneaking through a dungeon. It was real quiet. Then I heard Lydia's armor rattle. I said "shh. be bery bery quiet. I'm hunting bandits." Elmer Fudd ftw.

That's usually a sign of madness.

Oh yeah. Lydia and I were going by a cave and she pops up and says, "A cave. I wonder what's in there?"

And I say, "Do you get any kind of a hint from all these spiderwebs in front of the cave?"
