Do You Think Its Fair For Xboxone To Pay 4 Live & Sub?

Post » Tue Feb 18, 2014 4:00 am

I understand why there's a subscription for PC & Mac, but for Xboxone.that's just unfair, Xbox already have a monthly Payment just to play online and use its apps and now to throw another payment on top of that and pretty sure there will be DLC too that's even more money. It just svcks that I have to pay so much to play one of my favorite game series, I loved Skyrim on the Xbox360 I still play it in till this day. Its Just sad that Bethesda will make die hard Elder Scrolls Fans like me pay so much to enjoy the game.

Complain to Microsoft, Sony dropped the PS Plus requirement, MS refuses to budge on that.

What would be unfair would be Xbox1 players getting to play without the subscription, more so because Zenimax doesn't get anything from the Live payment, so PC and PS4 players would be subsidizing Xbox1 players.

Is it fair? Few things in life are fair.

That said, who gets an XB One and not bother to get a live subscription? I bought the live sub before I even had the xb1 because I knew I would want to play online.

same as two responses above.

Microsoft is the "culprit" here, not Bethesda

Might as well go a step up the ladder, and ask Microsoft how it's fair that you have to pay for Live when you already have to pay for the internet connection just to get online at all.

Though, I thought Live was free and it was just upgrading to Gold that cost money? (Granted, ESO will likely require Gold anyway... but again, that MS not ZOS making that decision. Blame them.)

Have you got something against consuls? Were you, perhaps, involved in Benghazi?

Well, I can't speak for Microsoft on this one, but I personally wouldn't purchase an MMO on an Xbox anyways. How would I immerse myself in gameplay if I couldn't create a story involving other players? I suppose we could LARP over the headsets... V(oice)ARP?

You do realize that the sub you pay to microsoft doesn't go to ZOS, right?

Why should you get free stuff from ZOS because MS wants to charge you for the hardware you purchased?

Trick question. :-p

This is why I chose a PS4 instead of Xbox One. I had a feeling that this would happen. I feel for you because it isn't fair but that's MS for you, they've always been greedy. Hope you find a solution, or hopefully MS finally see sense.

They chose to stick with consoles------>their problems.

Sorry I have no remorse to console players. Theire the reason I have to suffice with 5+1 actionbars in this game.

What does being 'fair' have to do with anything?

What's unfair (or just plain stupid) is that Xbox players have to pay a fee just to play any game online. Sony went the same way with the PS4 and requiring PS+ for most multiplayer games, but they're at least flexible and allow developers to skirt around that requirement in some cases.

Well, it was a suggestion. Complaining about double-fees when there are alternatives...

That's the way the cookie crumbles

Although if you were already subscribing to whatever it is Xbox has, you'd still be paying the sub fee on top of that regardless of whether you played it on PC or a console.
