Oh, they will rise. They will get out of bed, drink some FEV-laced beer, get back into bed, and promptly [censored] themselves. :tops:

Brotherhood Outcasts would have to be my favorite faction, and it's only like 45% due to the red T-45b. :P

Let's let the Enclave die. Forever. Again.

Let's let the rest of the Enclave soldiers live a normal life, scattered in villages and hiding their identity until their death. The East coast needs a new, original enemy. Not a recycled faction. :)

If the Enclave were to return, I'd much prefer to see them in a severely reduced role.

Possibly similar to the BOS remnant in New Vegas. Reduced numbers, struggling for supplies, demoralized and possibly forced to work with the locals. Granted, they'd probably be enemies to other factions for stuff they've previously done, but it would give the player chance for a diplomatic solution or the chance to -at the very least- work with them or remain neutral.

I whole heartedly agree with this. I don't want them to be overdone the way they were in FO3, but I don't want a bunch of old farts who are so buggy that only one of them ever bothers to follow you into battle either.

People say that "Da emkave is ded an goone, it kant kom bakkk, koz da oile rigge got blewted up!" (Sorry, I love the childish way some of them type. It's almost as if they think that typing like morons makes them seem more intelligent. )

But, if you think about it the roman empire was gone for around 2000 years before someone found some books and decided to bring it back. And the romans didn't have survivors scattered around america, with established bases. Ok so perhaps it would be a watered down version if a remnant recruited new followers and took over an old enclave base, but it certianly isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

I'd rather future Enclave civilians and soldiers be portrayed like the Auld Lang Syn group, IE trying to merge in with remaining society. The Enclave, being a remnant splinter of old world government, it's very apt they fall into the sands of time, nothing more than their technology being their namesake. The Enclave and The Brotherhood of Steel are both Xenophobic tech obsessed isolationist, time has proven over and over that these kind of people tend to go into a decline, even a collapse of society.

Don't get me wrong. I liked the idea behind the remnants in NV, I even liked a few of their characters. But I would have preferred to have them more Arcades age. Bringing pensioners along on a mission like that just didn't work for me. But yeah, I could get behind having Enclave types trying to merge into society. I just don't want them to just be gone, they are an interesting group and I don't think their story is over.

Please...one of the only major factions (and the only one thats evil) that is working on new tech, has no/little morals, and has been feature (even if only a little bit) in the last two games? even if they don't actually call them the enclave, a similar faction is almost guaranteed to come back. the Idea of an evil group preforming experiments (deathclaws in FO3) is just too compelling. Besides, I don't understand why everyone says they can't come back just because they were destroyed in FO2 and 3. There just a group of people. Anyone could pick up one of their suits of power armor and start a new enclave. Besides, we never saw where all their equipment was being made in FO3, so odds are that some where in the US, or maybe even another country there is a MASSIVE base/factory/research center.

I believe there was the Oil Rig, a base in Chicago, and Raven's Rock so they're bound to have more and a settlement of mentally unstable people lead by some guy who wears Enclave Power armor and says he's a member of the Enclave (but isn't) running the settlement would be badass!

Oh come on! These guys are a dead horse! Quit flogging them! Why do we need to drag around the Enclave like they're Fallout's personal Bowser?

I think a better choice for the development team would be to to back to a time just after the bombs. or to a new part of the world or country. but thats just me

I honestly liked the direction that was going with 1, 2, and NV. It's obviously building up something big, and I want to see that all crumble down again.

No thank you, let them go out as badasses, and not some reoccuring super villain in an ongoing saturday morning cartoon series, who never wins.
