Do you use the radial suit menu?

Post » Mon Jul 04, 2011 4:02 am

I remember back when the demo came out some people complained that instead of using the cool suit menu from Crysis 1 to change modes you could just press a button. I'm just curious, does anyone actually use it in Crysis 2?

Why would anyone? Because there is no lean and the stealth and armor are designated on the "Q" and "E" keys its only makes sense to use those. its quicker. Unless you resigned those key obviously.

@KING_OF_SAND I was just wondering...
So if Crysis 1 had quick hotkeys would you use them?

If it was the old style crysis nano wheel, I'd use it. But it's different now.

It was totally broken at first btw, and to be fair they have fixed it now. But for the way the suit is nowadays, the buttons are better.

I know it is there, but I never use it...

The pin wheel was the worst design from the original crysis.

Yes i would, but they would not be the "Q" & "E" keys as i would still use those for leaning. i would designate them to my mouse.

The pin wheel was the worst design from the original crysis.

Actually, it was one of the best.
When you became experienced at the game, using it was just instinctual reflex, and you could be so fast that
you wouldn't even see the wheel appear when changing modes.

It was one of those things that you would feel is missing when you went into other games.
Doesn't really seem worth using in Crysis 2 though, because of the game and suit changes :(

I would use it if it was as smooth as the one in Crysis. Crysis 2s suit wheel is just clunky as hell.

Hes posted before that hes only finished the first mission in Crysis or something like that. He hates the suit wheel because hes bad with it. As you said it didnt take long until players switched without even seeing the suit wheel come up.
