Do you use the Winterized T51b armor?

Ever since I found this armor(75+10) and decided to wear it my gameplay has changed and I am not sure for the better.

I no long carry 20+ stimpaks and I find I will walkup to just about anything with little fear of death.

I have decided to retire this armor it's just too OP for me and I feel I am missing a lot of what this game is all about.

How about you, do you enjoy living on the edge of dying or walking the waste pretty much invinsible?

Disclaimer: I am playing on PC (game difficulty normal) with mods like AWOP, Wanderers Edition on default settings, WMK

several other mods but they don't affect game difficulty.

I use combat armor. It's abundant and fairly easy to maintain, but it has low durability so you may be caught with your pant down for longer quests.

It has reasonable DR, but not so much that it's OP.

It looks cool, too.

It's cheap.

I always love combat armor.

I don't really use Winterized T51-B Power Armor. If I want to go OP, I go all the way with the unique T51-B.

I have never used it so I would not know it is OP. I usually just use Leather Armor or the Traders Clothing. I love the look of the Traders clothing but it svcks in protection.

I can't stand the look of power armor. I put my first character in it but I made her take it off ASAP and put Raider Armor back on. I play with FOOK2, which adds a boatload of new armor that I find much more appealing than power armor.

But, who knows, one of my future characters may over-ride my preferences and decide to wear power armor anyway.
