Post » Wed Jul 27, 2011 6:09 am

No more DLCs.Time to move on. RAGE hopefully will take our collective minds off new vegas.I need a new game.I'm at level 45, just finished OWB (took my time on this one),And I really don't want to go back to the mojave. Its gotten boring. So for people who just want new dlc for new stuff to do, then I say get dead island in september.Rage in oct.,and skyrimm in nov.

Hopefully not too long. Bethesda started pre-production on Fallout 3 in the months before Oblivion was released. Now we're in the months before Skyrim is released, I'm hoping they're in the preliminary stages of Fallout 4. I tentatively hope for a 2013 release.

Oops, apologies for going off-topic. :spotted owl:

Does this mean you want fallout 4 to be rushed in 18 months like FNV.Wouldn't you rather 4-5 years to be as big/expansive as fallout 3?

But none of these are fallout. The mw has been boring for a long time, that is why I like Obsidians dlc, because they for the most part have not been boring.

I am going to jump into TES and get Skyrim to get a look at the new engine.

I voted New Reno (which would be great) but I want to see New Arroyo. That city is sort of a grey area canon-wise and it would be nice for Washington/Oregon to get a little love.

Hadn't thought about it like that. I suppose it's a battle of desires between wanting a completely new Fallout with a much better engine soon ..... but at the same time, wanting it to be as brilliant and franchise-freshening as Fallout 3.

Anyway, we're way off-topic. :teehee:

I d like to see it by fall of 2014 at the latest. 4-5 years? Christ, I might be dead by then. They made the engine for their games, so hopefully they will be able to get stuff done faster and more effectively on it.

Well, they did mention in a preview for Skyrim that the new engine allows them to render and create terrain without breaking a sweat. So filling in all of the juicy goodness of Fallout shouldn't take 4 years. I'm predicting a Fall 2012 release.

damn that would be super fast. Im thinking fall 2013, but I ll take 2012 as long as it is a really deep environment like fo3.

Fallout 3 had a deep environment? Girdershade had 2 people!

But I agree as long as there are more populated cities. New Vegas was a good start in this regard.

Los Vegas has like 6 casinos, and it wasn t even hit.

Fo3s world was very deep. You must not have looked around much.

Not to mention it actually felt like DC, but there were stories all over that map. Real life landmarks, Chinese remnents dead and alive, the series of S.O.S. Morris code towers. I could go on and on.........

Fo nv has some people in the towns that cause fps drop, but not much for info hunters like myself. Not many stories of the past......

Dog City's all of the way across Legion territory so good luck getting their, and the last thing on the options that side a post game DLC is completely wrong, there will be NO post game DLC, THAT has been comfirmed.

I voted New Reno but I'm 99% sure that Lonesome Road is the last one...

well I did some searching about TC saying MCA replied to him about more DLC, and here it is

http://twitter.com/#!/ChrisAvellone/status/77788688398036992

So it honestly looks like if the demand is there and Beth ok's it, then we could very well see another DLC

OP, please explain "A huge DLC post game[already confirmed to be but put it in anyways to keeep the moaners happy]]". Cite your sources.

Well Bethesda soft works will be doing fo4, and Obsidian did this game. Im not sure how much of Bethesda soft works resources go into an Obsidian made dlc if any, but it can t be much.

I don t think it will hold fo4 up. Fo4 is a long ways away anyhow.

Bethesda Softworks has provided nothing aside from publishing. Bethesda Game Studios has provided their engine and Fallout 3 assets, this the similar appearance and re-usage of assets throughout New Vegas. IIRC Obsidian was told to make NV a unique game but in line graphically with Fallout 3

On topic. Id love to see San Diego, cus that's where I live. It would be awesome to make a house mod where I actually live in a game.

Yeah, I didn't vote. There should be a maybe option. Depends how Lonesome Road finishes up really. If it finishes amazingly (Like i think it will) then I'll be satisfied. Also, Denver would be cool but it's Legion territory so I doubt we'll ever even come close because this game is to NCR based....

New reno is talked about a lot and seem like it would a new cosino or two to the game maybe add more games inthe cosinos one that take skill not luck

That wouldn't happen if it took skill not luck people would break the casinos forever lol. Id like to see a dlc in baja since you always here about the ncr elite rangers there it must be pretty hardcoe there.

Voted "yes" and chose New Reno but i'm sure Lonesome Road is the final DLC. I'll probably be too busy playing Skyrim when Lonesome Road arrives.

I wish there would be a patch/DLC to keep the Mojave more entertaining for high level characters (new spawns/stronger enemies/some quests/etc).
