Whether Bethesda does it or not you should have no issues finding a nice and clean jpg of it online to print. There is one now but not sure how large it is, but by the time this releases you deffinitely shouldn't have any issues finding an awesome looking version to print.

It still kind of bother's me that my $60 STEAM edition gives me nothing but the game ... digitally, while I can pay the same $60 at GameStop and get a box, DVD, poster, who knows what else. With all the overhead savings buying digit does for the company why am I paying the same amount. No box, no jewel case, no DVD, no poster, no shipping, no paying GameStop employees, etc. and etc. and I'm paying the same $60. Just seems that the digital version should be $5 or $10 cheaper. Course physical retailers would go ballistic if they did that, but still it makes sense. Sometimes I feel like I need to get the physical copy just to feel more like I'm getting my money's worth, even though I'd rather just buy it on STEAM and be done with it.

As far as the poster goes, I really couldn't care less. It would just sit in the box and never be used. Now if the NA version came with the bobble head I'd be all over that as I would love to have that sitting on my desk at work.

Why on Earth would you pay $20 for a poster that's included with the $60 game? Just order from Beth and all is well.

Luckily I hate Steam and pre-ordered directly from the Beth store, and this is such a wonderful testament to BSG that you get more than you pay for. I hope all the people who are outraged about the Season Pass, and how BSG is asking them to buy something they don't know anything about, are reading this. You can rest assured that the same thing will be the case for the Season Pass.

You shouldn't have any problems as long as you just print it for yourself and don't try to like sell copies or start giving them away in large numbers or something like that.

...and for the record, the last game I actually purchased a physical copy of WAS Fallout 3 and I don't pre-order games (I may do so a few days before release just to pre-load it). Certainly am not going to change my habits over a poster.

As I said, I'm not pre-ordering Fallout 4. I don't like pre-ordering games unless it's a limited edition that will sell out. And if I was going to pre-order, I would do so from Steam. If you don't like Steam that's fine, you don't have to. But Steam is the service I and a lot of people prefer, and I'm buying my copy of Fallout 4 through Steam. That's why I would like it if the perk poster were available on it's own, for everyone like me who wants it, but doesn't like pre-ordering, prefers to buy games digitally, or both.

Regardless of where you buy FO4 it wouldn't surprise me if you still need STEAM. I bought Skyrim from GameStop, but I still play it through STEAM. I think it was required actually. So basically you are paying the same $60 for:

1) Download from STEAM while sitting at home as soon as available. Can play sooner (by a few hours).

or

2) Travel to a store. Install physical copy. Get a poster. Still play it through STEAM.

I've also bought physical games I have to play through Steam anyway. That's why I prefer just to buy games on Steam. Cut out the middle man.

You have to use Steam regardless of whether you buy a hard copy or not. You can buy the digital version from Steam for $60. You can pre-order the hard copy from Beth Store (or Game Stop or wherever) for $60. By choosing to buy it from Steam, you're actually paying the middle man...Buying it from Beth Store would be buying directly from the source. Which also lands you a nice perk chart.

I just see it as Bethesda's profit margin is a lot higher with digital sales. Obviously they are not paying for making a DVD/case, or box, or poster, or shipping to a store, etc. I know there are some cost to delivering the product digitally, but I can't imagine it being nearly as much as what a physical copy cost them to make and sell. And either way they are paying STEAM for their part. So basically Bethesda just takes more of the $60 for digital.

Steam, as a distributor, just gets a discount from Beth. Say they buy it at $50/copy from Beth and sell it at $60. Beth sells it at $60 direct, but spends $10/copy on packaging. They make about the same.

Alright, I admit that was the wrong choice of words. Regardless, I still prefer buying on Steam. I like the convenience of it. I just buy something and I get it immediately. I don't have to bother waiting for it to come in the mail or having to go down to a retailer (I don't own a car... ). But we're getting off topic now.

Alternatively, do what I do and order physical from Amazon. Tend to get it the day it comes out, with any perks that come with a physical copy, shipped right to my door.

You can have mine if you like, Its just a repetition I spliced so I could have a perk poster on my desktop at work. Not the best resolution that ever lived but it suits my needs.
