Do you want Bethesda to sell the Perk Poster separately?

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 5:44 pm

I really hope they do. I'm not pre-ordering Fallout 4, and if I was, I would be doing it through Steam, so I wouldn't get the Perk Poster either way. If the poster was made available for purchase separately through Bethesda's store, I would gladly buy it.

Around $15 (+shipping, tax, ect) sounds reasonable, but I would be okay with paying up to $20 for it. $30 would be a bit too much.

EDIT - I changed the first option from "Yes, I would love to own it!" to "Yes, it should be available to everyone!" since a few people who pre-ordered anyway voted yes, just because they feel people should be able to buy it if they want to. Or because they pre-ordered digitally, and the poster only comes with a physical pre-order.

I pre-ordered the digital version, so yes I would.

I voted "Yes, I would love to own it!" since I would not mind if they sold the poster, I pre-ordered digitally and I would love to own the poster, but I probably wouldn't buy it unless it was pretty cheap since I like to keep my walls bare.

I've already preordered so I will be getting it regardless, but I voted yes because other folks who didn't preorder should be able to get it too. Honestly though they should offer it for free somehow.

Am I right in thinking that the perk poster doesn't show the sub categories? Without them surely its just a pretty picture telling you what that perk is but not much else.

A physical perk poster is irrelevant to me. I have the digital version of that chart and I am sure there will be the equivalent information inside the game. I'm actually more interested in the second screen (Android/iOS) app. I may not have the Pip Boy edition, but having that extra little app to look at my Pip Boy seems really convenient. Maybe.

yes. There are people who likes to collect game related stuff. A friend of mine collects posters, post cards and game manuals. So the opportunity to buy stuff separeate from the game with low price from local gamestop or something is a good thing.

It's a nice bonus for the pre-order (which I was going to do anyway), but I wouldn't buy it separately. But, then, I don't usually buy extra side-stuff for games (collector's editions, lootcrates, Funko Pop figures.....)

In the era of capalism, it would be wise to make it available to everyone. Win/win both the company & fans who like to collect physical stuff.

I'm not really interested in owning a perk poster, but it would be really neat if you could buy it on the Bethesda Store. I think $15 sounds pretty reasonable for it.

Man, at $15 bucks, it should be cloth, or bordered in gold leaf, or something. Heck, you can save the high res image and take it to a print shop and get it any size for that.

I like that I'm getting one with pre-order, but can't see paying for one. But I've no place to hang it and doubt it will be all that useful compared to the pipboy.

That said, I'm sure they'll sell them at some point, and if they don't, they should.

Pre ordered the pipboy edition so no clue if we get a poster with the pre order at gamestop.

But i voted yes that it should be available to everybody not just a select few.

The Perk Poster was already promised to those who ordered the Pip-Boy Edition. It's one of the bonuses along with the Pip-Boy and that book that they've never said anything about.

Does anyone know the dimensions of this poster? I got the pipboy edition and I want to possibly get a cheap frame for this perk poster. I'm trying to find it online and I can't seem to come up with anything. Any help?

Send Gstaff a PM and see if he can get the dimensions for you. Also see if he can find out what's in that damn book.

Dont see why not, its not some super exclusive thing like the pip boy, so it wouldn't really trample any toes.

No reason for them to. Just download the JPG (or PDF) and spend some money in a print shop. You could have it today for likely less than they would sell it for.

Wait....there are people who didn't preorder this? What's wrong with them? Poor things must be in desperate need of mental health help.

I think it would be great if there was a nice wallpaper made available for download. That would make me just as happy as a paper version.
