Arena/Daggerfall style holidays would be cool in Skyrim. heck it would be an interesting twist with the economy stuff we hear about! :celebration:

For those who havent played Arena/Daggerfall, sometimes a popup will appear and say "today is soso day celebrating blah blah.........so drinks are half off!" or "today is soso day.....watch out for the soso spirits of evil people!"

That would sound good, but if it isn't already in the game now it probably won't be added. People also have to watch out for dragons now, so they might have to be careful if they're out celebrating too much, and maybe there could be new holidays created for the dragons that get slain, or something about the revolution going on.

Yeah, during some of the holidays in Daggerfall, the tavernkeepers would offer free food/drinks or lodging, or the Temples would offer free curing of diseases, or shops would offer discounts. Some holidays all the shops would close too for the day.

I dont want any more reasons for stores to be closed, i for one really liked it in Morrowind where all stores were open 24/7

I hated waiting for hours to dump off weight
