And are already pointless.

Lore based holidays would greatly add to the immersion.

Holidays are fine, nothing like are sissy modern day holidays though. Ones that fit the setting.

Holidays would be cool, and just because their already in the lore doesn't mean that their in the game. There weren't any holidays in Oblivion. Actually showing evidence that those holidays exist would be a great feature, it would add a nice twist to the regular NPC schedule.

There already are plenty of lore based holidays. Look it up on Imperial Library. Would be great if they were in the games too.

Yeah, it would be neat to see everybody out on the streets in holidays.

Every second Tuesday the Nords in each village should seek the nearest human skull and drink from it.

The third Tuesday is for lamb slaughter. The fourth they just get drunk off their arses, but that's not really different from any other day.

Great idea. But I don't think any of my characters have been around for more than or much more than a year in game time.

I would like holidays, yes. Something like the day where they all sing that song about the first battle of the Nords or something like that, I forget.

i wouldn't like the inclusion of holidays because i would most likely MISS the holidays and/or be in the wrong place at the wrong time!
i'm also not sure if this place has 365 days a year, so i wouldn't know how long i'd have to wait to RE-witness a holiday :S

I've read some of the holidays from Daggerfall, and I don't understand why they aren't included anymore.
Obviously Skyrim would have some of its own, but holidays sound like a great addition.

Which holiday would cause 50 Nords to jump in a freezing lake in only underwear.

Arena/Daggerfall style holidays would be cool in Skyrim. heck it would be an interesting twist with the economy stuff we hear about! :celebration:

For those who havent played Arena/Daggerfall, sometimes a popup will appear and say "today is soso day celebrating blah blah.........so drinks are half off!" or "today is soso day.....watch out for the soso spirits of evil people!"

Not exactly that but you get my point

I want to see all the Nordic frat kids at the College of Winterhold celebrating Mad Pelagius Day. So, to answer what I assume was your intended question, "Do you want holidays to be celebrated in Skyrim," yes. Very yes.

P.S. tgl, did you draw that godly icon? You win so hard.

HALLOWEEN?

HOLIDAYS?

Sorry, I think it would ruin the game, not Halloween, are you serious?

Holidays and summoning days would be lovely.
Why Halloween being mentioned? Surly there are holidays that exist in Tamriel with valid origins that happened in tes history.
