He was in morrowind and in oblivion how many years is it between those two games?

History lesson, kids!

Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion cover the last 44 years of Uriel Septim VII life. Modryn Oreyn (Chorrol, Fighter's guild) is from Oreyn family involved in the Malacath's quest in Morrowind and he met Nerevarine between MW and OB. So the answer is "not many".

Remember that necromancer staff you gain after completing the mage guild's questline in Oblivion?

This would make that if it were to resurface in Skyrim it'd be worth it this time.

He could return as a ghost. That would be the most realistic return for Mai`q.

Ah yes! After finding his dead body, you receive a quest to find the staff of worms and revive him! Once you do, he gives you the boots of blinding speed, then runs around in the wild/between cities like in OB and you can find and talk to him again.

Why do so many people think that M'aiq is an integral part of lore? because the truth is quite the opposite, he is an easter egg that tells the player all of the things that people made a big fuss over in the forums like spears, crossbows etc. He is an easter egg and therefore does not follow the laws of Canon.

M'aiq is essentially Bethesda's middle finger to all the haters out there.

your not supposed to pick up on that lol your mind is supposed to = blown since thats pretty much what he did since Morrowind, much of what he said had truth behind it, even the Dragons being High in the Sky.

Msot hilarious character in Oblivion. I almost caught him once. I had to cut across some woods to meet him on the other side.... SO close. Just out of reach.
