Do you want your armor to be as customizable as your guns wi

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 8:48 pm

Yes, hopefully armors will be somewhat customisable as weapons are.

Maybe metal armors (metal armor, power armor) coud be improved with polishing, increasing their laser reflective abilities increasing resistance against energy weapons.
And other non power armor could maybe improved with armor sheets that gives extra protection against normal damage, maybe two types of sheets(other adds damage resistance and other damage threshold.)
And ofcourse the ultimate armor, power armor should have some nightvision kit, dehydration recycler(recycles the sweat and pee) making the player dehydrating much slower rate(maybe 25-50% slower rate), and maybe some power hydralic legs, what would allows player to jump much higher than normally.

And maybe power armor could have a pink paint kit, that would colour the PA to pink and would give boost to speech skill check against women. :)

Customization is always cool - especialy if you could customize color.

What about a suit that offers off-the-charts DT in exchange for steadily eating up MF Cells?

At the time I had made this DT didn't exist yet. I would like to know why this didn't go in regardless of MAJOR support. Unfortunately they will probably never answer that question. Or ill see it in a year like I did with my hardcoe suggestion. . . .

You're actually not the first person to suggest this. It was suggested for Fallout 3 as well. My guess is that they just didn't have time to add everything that would have been cool to the game. They had less than two years to do it...they must have thought other things were more important.

I think it would be really cool too. Not the easiest thing to implement, though.

I said other but what I mean is Yes, but not just in the lore of the game. How about being able to paint it like The Outacasts did, or put emblems on it and such. Possiblites are endless, how about being able to make a suit of leather that's shaped like Deathclaws, Aliens style, with Deathclaw Scent on it, and being able to just walk right in amongst them. Or being able to make your Power armor make you 8foot tall, a slow moving tank, or just be able to power up the boots to make you run/jump faster and better. Or Put that Combat Helmet Mark 2 on and in Fps you can zoom up 10x and it has the option to turn the tint on or off. Some people don't catch that that tint ( just like the NCR Ranger helmet with red lens) can be turned off. I've seen Boone with Mark 2 helmet but it was clear.
Possiblities are endless. I dunno about you guys but I would love some power armor that allows me to jump 5 feet in the air and come down on my enemy with a down punch, and do it with an emblem of whatever I wanted on the armor.

I'd like to mix and match Raider, Leather and Metal armor into new patchwork designs.

I've always wanted to attach scopes to my legs.

Edit: Not being sarcastic.

This isn't the first time I suggested this for the series but for this game I was the only one. There was enough time. Two people could of done it. I have had many accounts on here unfortunately, the suggestion you saw was likely me. But I respect your die hard love for them. I lost that when they stopped making elder scrolls.
