If you warped to Nirn?

I'd probably be a trainer in hand-to-hand combat... hmmm I wonder how loud a bosmer would scream if he were put into an armbar...

Now, now, remember, the bandits would level with you! They would have leather armor and irons weapons. :P

^ True, but whose to say someone isn't already level 99XX in real life?

And I can't believe this hasn't been said yet, but I would get you ALL addicted to moon sugar! All you people that got jobs and joined guilds....well, you're working to pay for your habit now, which means you're working for me. In Tamriel, first you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the women, then you get the women to dance in your moon sugar house with red mood lighting similar to the one in Suran. Yea!

First though, I would use the CS to edit out all mention of CHIM before I warp there. That way, everyone that tries to obtain it has their dream go unfulfilled. Serves them right too.

and watch as Dagon massacres the world?

I'm assuming this is after all that happened...besides, that's what the Hero is for. I'm not a hero. I guess I could follow along behind him carrying all his swords and potions.

Ah but see if you were warped to Nirn, then that seems to fit one theory about the CoC, nerevarine etc. that they were created on the spot to fill the path of destiny, who knows, maybe all the past champions of TES are really just game freaks trapped in the body of their character :) hmmm...maybe the dragonbreak has something to do with that too

But for real, if I somehow woke up in the Roxy Inn, assuming I'm there with that I have on me right now, I'd probably look for a job in the Mages Guild or Fighters Guild immediately (assuming I can now use magic) and try to somehow survive. People will probably give me really weird looks, since my attire would be pretty different from everyone else. I'd also try to figure a way out, and hide my personal belongings (or carry them at all times).

I think I could survive, as long as I stayed away from combat. I would try to join the Mages Guild, or atleast see if they thought that I had any potential. If that didnt work out then I would consider becoming a librarian or something like that, or I would give being a priest in service of the Nine a try. If the above failed, I would probably end up as an commoner but I cant cook, clean etc to save my life.

I could probably fare pretty well on Nirn. At times like these I'd certainly like the adventuring, freelancing, and guild opportunities over the painful career specialization that school, college, and job resumes try to force on us nowadays.

Assuming I warp to Nirn, and already know that this is a world in the fictional Elder Scrolls series, then I'll achieve CHIM easily. Then I'll turn Cyrodiil back into a jungle and be loved by all. :)

This is assuming I don't accidentally touch someone else's fork or apple (even the ones they leave out on the table for guests at taverns) and get massacred by the guards.

I would become an adventurer like in the games, but I would actually bring a few friends along instead of go at it alone.

First I'd see if I could use the console. If so I would then ~tgm and rule teh universah!!!!!

If not I'd learn magic as quick as I could and try to get rich as soon as possible. Then I'd try to pay a Telvanni (in money, artifacts, slaves, whatever) to teach me some life augmenting stuff ? la Divath Fyr. Living in a magic world for a thousand years in luxury wouldn't be so bad.

That's assuming I wouldn't spawn in the middle of a forest and be hacked to pieces by a monster.

Stiffly walk around for a while. Stop and stare into space. Walk up to the nearest stranger and ask about news from the other provinces. Rinse, repeat.

Depends. Will I also be magically turned into a Khajiit? If so, I'd go "YAY KITTY FUR! =D" and bounce through town on people's rooftops. XD

If I'm stuck as a human? Emo for a while. Then pickpocket someone, buy some stuff, and bribe the nearest mage to teach me magic.

Assuming I don't, yanno, kill the nearest Bosmer and get arrested.

Realistically? Die. Probably within the first few minutes, either due to one of the critters roaming around, or my own inate clumsiness causing me to fall off a hillside. If I managed to survive long enough to do anything, I'd most likely try to get a job as a "serving wench"/ waitress at the inn. Remember, I have no money and couldn't just up and travel the several days or weeks it would take to get anywhere. With money, I'd probably take a carriage to Bruma and if I survive the trip... I'm not sure. Get another job, maybe try to get in on one of the guilds, I'm an armourer in real life and also know a bit about alchemy, so I'd be non-warrior whatever I decide. Maybe become the guild cook.

In the very beginning, most of my time would be spent rocking back and forth in a corner blubbering and bawling my eyes out. I have a feeling a great many of us would do that at first.

Edit: This is assuming I fall into the world far enough before or after the Oblivion Crisis to not get eaten/torn apart/something nasty and painful by any marching daedric forces. If it happens during, I'm screwed.

I couldn't survive well being dropped someplace, like say, the Pine Barrens in NJ, in my own world. So my odds of surviving in Tamriel are limited. I would probably just go into the Roxey Inn and move a spoon, and choose Go To Jail as my option for such a heinous crime. At least that way I would presumably have had an escort to the IC. Once there, I would probably have to beg or maybe I could cajole my way onto the janitorial staff of the Arcane University, because I sure as hell would not survive a trip to any outlying town to get guild hall recommendations. I would probably spend my evenings drinking heavily in the Bloated Float thereafter.

Do I get the starting spells? If so I'll cast Heal Minor Wounds over and over and over whilst picking and selling ingredients to the Roxey Inn/waiting for the to respawn/repeat until master of restoration.

The next bit depends on whether we get fast travel or not.

With a mortar & pestle, 2 healing potions, decent steel blade and some upper armor I think I'd be off to a good start. I'd just have to remind myself to stay away from mushrooms.

I probably wouldn't even realize where I was.

I mean, if I got warped into the Imperial City, sure, I'd recognize the White Gold Tower. Maybe. If I wasn't too disoriented. But the topic says "Nirn", and Nirn is a big place. I could be transported to anywhere on Tamriel, or even elsewhere like Akavir, given that this brand of hypothetical magic could go horribly wrong at any moment, and I likely wouldn't recognize any of the places because I haven't seen most of the Elder Scrolls universe. I would only realize where I was when I saw people and places that were distinctively not-Earth, like Elves and Khajiit and Argonians. I'm not even sure I'd recognize the Roxey Inn.

And, of course, all of our survival is based on somehow, magically, acquiring the same language spoken as well as rudimentary magical powers. So, hypothetically, assuming that happens, and that I realize where I am sooner, rather than later, I'd probably be quite successful, given that I know plenty about the world and knowledge is a wealth that cannot be stolen. And it all depends on whether or not I remain more or less human. Do I become a Redguard, Nord, Breton or Cyrodiil? Or something far more exotic. I'd prefer to be an elf, given the increased lifespan. Or go run off to Solstheim and become a werewolf.

realistically I'd probably prefer the cosmopolitan culture of the Imperial City over anywhere else. I'd try to make myself into something resembling a Dwemer and Divayth Fyr. Magic is terribly stagnant, and my knowledge of our 21st century technology could easily crush the terribly inefficient magic of Tamriel. My knowledge of Tamriel is secondary to the power that we possess now on Earth.

So my final answer: rebuild Numidium and reach heaven by violence.

well i would walk down stair (assuming his is the roxy inn) ask "where am i?" and after roxy tells me i would steal as much food as i can and ask the guard to excort me to the imperial city go to the water front and steal the beggers food bag(the whole bag so i have somehting to put my things in). try to et some money for food. i would live in the imperial city for a while then become a nomad. i would get a bow for hunting learn how to make arrows and get things i need for a camp (some pots, tents, bed rolls, tinder box, and an axe). i would make some frinds adn get a wife to travel with me in my jurneys and we would all have a job in the group then i would live with them till the end of my days. if i did notdie in the first day

Pine Barrens are easy. Pick a direction. (Preferably east) and walk that way for 2 hours. If you haven't encountered a house, road, path, or six flags, we're not talking the same Pine Barrens. However, that's in the spring/ autumn. Winter- your fingers fall off in a half-an-hour. Summer- you die of blood-loss from ticks in 3 hours. (All of this is assuming that you just appear in a random location with nothing but your underwear and a dream) Cyrodiil, on the other hand, you're completely right.
