If you warped to Nirn?

Post » Thu Aug 19, 2010 2:20 am

This is out to everyone but I'd love to see the real Lore fanatics answer this as well. If you somehow were warped into the Elder scroll universe, knowing the knowledge you know of lore and the world of Tamriel. If out of no where you were put into the world of Tamriel and lets say was put right outside The Roxey Inn. What would you do? Would you go to the Imperial City and look for a job or try and find a damn way out of the universe? (This is based on the 3E 433)

Would you try to convince the greatest scholars that you know certain things they don't? Or would you try and find that damn adoring fan end his life and placing yourself into the imperial dungeon for how long they put you? I've always wondered it myself, In my opinion I would most likely stay in the realm. I would first try to get some septims for myself whether it be begging or even thievery. And start trying to get a home. If I'm brave enough I would join the fighters guild or a mercenary group If I feel I would like to risk my life to fight. I also would try and look for one of the nine to worship might be Talos and it might be Arkay. Or Dibella *wink*

From this other questions arise like what city would you stay in and from what you know of dungeons, ayleid ruins and such would you go near them or would you go down in there knowing there are vampire clans in there just so you may get Porphyric Hemophilia so you may become an immortal being? Just add on to your idea of what you would do during this time in the Imperial rule.

I'd probably go on into the IC and look for a job. As soon as I make enough money and get the feel of the place I'd definitely use the knowledge I have from playing the game to exploit things. Wonder if it'd be possible to dupe items...

If I were warped to Nirn? I would be terrified because there are monsters and creatures everywhere and I'm afraid of things like spiders and cockroaches. So seeing a giant rat would have me screaming and running in the other direction. I'd probably stay in the biggest and safest city since I'm not a fighter at all. Although learning magic would be fun. But I'm not a person to steal in real life. My character certainly is, though.

If I went up to talk to people, would I still encounter a strange dialogue box? Or would it be just like in real life? lol
And could I actually bean count how many points my health and stamina were decreasing? In real life, I just go "ah crap, I'm tired. I'm gonna lay down." I don't go, "By the Northern Sea! I only have 20 points of stamina left. I had better rest a while to regain my lost points." :P

I would get money through begging and odd jobs, then join the Guild of Mages for the training and shelter. I would look into magick and enchanting, and soul gems (even black ones).
Probably end up trying strange magick experiments in an attempt to become very powerful.
Another thing that would interest me is the martial arts the Khajiit practice.

That is if a monster doesn't kill me.

Well aside from the idea that you can't 'warp' to TES because it is a fictional universe, i would first learn basic things which from gaming show survival, killing stealing, proper weapon use, i haven't held a weapon except for show, my first concern would be my own survival (i would probably check to see if the console was still usable, probably through CHIM, oh and see if i need to eat and sleep) i would already know some of the best trainers in Cyrodiil and i know what i have to do for them to train me, so i'll just do it, after training for a month, i'll see how far along the main story is, if there is a prisoner who escaped the jail with the amulet of kings, kvatch, etc. After figuring out the details i would probably try to finish the whole Martin ordeal faster by, taking the damn amulet with me (only reason the main quest goes so far is because that damned Jauffre hid the amulet without anybody gaurding it, real smooth, who would dare attack a priory with 3 monks and a shepherd <_<)

After relighting the dragonfires i would take a legion of troops to destroy world enemies like Mannimarco and Mankar Cameron, etc. i would then live the rest of my happy life in a fictional world, i would then train in magic and beast mastery, learning the languages of various beasts and creatures, i would live off the land and probably start a little town with my best friends in the game, probably get Baurus and Maiq to go with me.

It wouldn't be possible to simply just "go to the imperial city". Even on horseback that would take days.

Cyrodiil is the size of the state of Texas. It's a big place.

Me, nearly the same with a few key differences.
1.First I would capture a werewolf.
2.then I would go to memorial cave.
3.Then I would get bitten.
4.Then I would let Fluffy(werwolves name) bite me.
5.Then I would go swimming and meet a wereshark.
6.Meet my old friend Dorian.
7.Introduce my dagger to Dorian's throat.
8.Rest for a few days
9.See what happens

Now, now, remember, the bandits would level with you! They would have leather armor and irons weapons. :P

I think I could survive, as long as someone gives me a Cure Disease potion within a few days. Oh yeah, no more medication for me, woo!
