If you were in charge of TES lore....

Hmmmmm...
  • Ulfric Stormcloak unites Hammerfell, High Rock & Argonia to crush the Mede Empire and their masters: The Thalmor.

  • They battle in Elsweyr, Cyrodiil and Valenwood: gaining foothold in northern Elsweyr, county Leyawiin and the colovian highlands.

  • The orcs of the northern strongholds are forced out of Skyrim by Ulfric. They make their new home city in the Wrothgarian Mountains, near Orsinium.

  • Orcs start a united beastial rebellion in northern Hammerfell and southern High Rock, capturing Wayrest and Skaven to serve their own ends.

  • The Aldmeri Dominion is confronted then sieged by the second Maormer Armada in Alinor, the isle is sunk to the depths by unknown magics.

  • Some Thalmor fled to Southern Elsweyr and Valenwood, surviving the massacre. They quickly regroup and set plans in place for treaty negotiations.

  • Hammerfell & High Rock troops retreat from Colovian Highlands to deal with matters at home. Nords once again are solely standing against the Empire.

  • Argonia makes negotiations with the Elsweyr-Thalmor rulership for peace. Lands are forfeited, unrest occurs between khajiit and argonian peoples.

  • Survivors of House Redoran, Indoril, Hlaalu move from Solstheim and northern Morrowind move to retake the volcanic tropical isles of Vvardenfall.

  • The ruins of Vivec City are built upon to be the basis of a new capital for the dunmer people, it is renamed Baar Dau's Rise, after the moon.

  • Nerevarine returns from the Akaviri Expedition with fleeing tsaesci refugees, they settle on the shores of Eastern Morrowind and Vvardenfall's isles.

  • Argonia's hist masters release a plague upon Tamriel's populace. Morrowind and Cyrodiil are hit hard by it, creating large casualty rates.
That's the farthest ahead I could possibly go to imagine- by this time the next TES game would have just started in the timeline.

If I were in charge of TES lore, we'd know the average daily diet of a Colovian sorghum farmer circa the Ayleid conquest of the heartland; the chain of Ahemmusa Ashkhans following the return of the Nerevarine; and the relationship between six and the divine during Reman's imperium.

Awesome. Also: class relations in Nibenay, the training of Responsible Architects and saltrice yeild per hectare.

I'd introduce more alcohol with differing effects. Nothing like RP'ing an Imperial and refusing to touch anything but Flin and Cyrodiilic Brandy.

"What is this swill my boy? Mazte you say? And this is what? Shein? How barbarous indeed, rather quite, I do say!"

Getting nostalgic, are we?

If we're just restricted to accomplishing things within the established setting, I'd first have it discovered that a Grove of Hist have planted themselves on and in Red Mountain, taming it and turning it green once again, a great forest of plants quickly expanding out, covering the world again in Histic Greenery. Second thing I'd do would be to have the Maormer seize the mouth of the Niben (Leyawiin, Senchal, and Soulrest included), becoming the arbiters and protectors (and sole beneficiaries) of all Imperial trade, strengthening their own resources and power as they mount an fleet from Topal bay and Pyandonea onto Summerset.

If we're expanding on existing lore, then I'd provide challenges and new interpretations to some of the basic texts like The Monomyth, just to send this forum into conniptions. Additionally, I'd characterize Rajiin in a series of books as a Legendary Cat-thief version of Indiana Jones.

And if we're inventing new lore, then I'd do things that play around with the numbers 5, 12, and 25. 5 and 25 would be numbers associated with conquest and survival, respectively. 12 would be the number associated with creating Creation. I'd also pay a bit more attention to the liturgy and essentiality of the other Divines. Right now they seem to be unimportant buffoons vaguely associated with the TWO/ONE SCHIZO-GOD and not really worthy of people worshiping them.
