If YOU were in Skyrim

Probably be dead in the middle of the wilderness as I was too busy enjoying the scenery and staring at dragons. However I'd want to join the Mage's College ideally before that happened ;) One way or another, I'd be broke and pretty beat up as I'd probably end up being some eccentric painter wandering the war torn land being robbed every other day, running for my life from said bandits and everything else but bunnies.

I'd become a blacksmith or lumber mill worker in a small settlement, seems like an easy enough life if you're not scared of a little hard work. Your community needs and respects you, outsiders aren't going to bother you too much unless they want to spend gold. I'd just pray a dragon didn't decide to burn down my village.

(for those of you who get this...) You can also take out a hit on heroes who steal things from your house. :D

Become a traveling scholar, obsessed with the Dwemer (which means I would have to learn how to fight and protect myself).
Probably worship the Daedra, be a badass with all their relics in my possession.

I'd be one of those guys at a random tavern endlessly drinking ale, owing tons of Septims without ever being forced to pay it back and yet somehow still getting free drinks.

Interesting question...just like one other user said that it would depend alot what race I was, where in the Skyrim I would have born and what my parents did.

Prob tamper with magic and join the mages in Winterhold. At some point make myself vampire to make sure I have more time to study magic xD
I can only imagine how powerful a over 500 year old mage could be o.O At somepoint I'd try to learn the ways of the Voice, if it was possible for me.

If not that, I would want to be a dragon and would hang out at ''the throat of the world'' B)

I would probably actually join the college of winterhold and reside there with civil war I probably wouldn't be too concerned as I am not on either side. with dragons and alduin I could just hope the dragonborn kills him and I'm safe, that or dark brotherhood for reals

thats messed up

I lol'd. I lol'd even harder when I noticed you're from Liverpool.

No benefits in Skyrim I'm afraid, you'd end up one of the beggars in rags.

Well in that case my next best option is to join the thieve's guild and simply rob the local Tesco's...er.. Skyrim's equivalent of Tesco's.

I've always been the scholarly sort -- the College of Winterhold would fit me like a glove.

I would be a Nord boy growing up in Riverwood, I'd try to make about 1000 gold a day cutting logs while having Alvor teach me blacksmithing, and then once I've crafted my own suit of Iron armor, I'd go on an adventure.
Even if I could never use shouts like the Dragonborn, I know how to train and so with that knowledge I could at the very least grow up to become an elite warrior capable of fighting weaker dragons.

Apply for a job at a meadery. Then ray to the divines that the war and dragons would be taken care of by some hardworking individual.

I'd probably be one of those guys you see running away from some hunter in the wilderness getting shot in the back with an arrow, or one of the people getting stabbed in the back in a marketplace by some assassin, or one of those guys half frozen in the ground in some cave reaching out to a coin purse.

Not well i'm afraid, plus I hate the cold.

Become a merchant in Cyrodil. Probably Anvil. Try to set up trade with the Tang Mo and the Ka Po' Tun of Akavir.

I mean come on. Why deal with cold, a war, and dragons when there are Monkey Isles and Tiger-Dragons to trade with.

I don't know why they haven't made Akavir a game yet. It would be sweet battling the Kamal and the Tsaesci. Can you say SWEEEET!
