Why does he need to be a special kind of [censored] just because of his gender? Why can't he just be a [censored]?

Because that word, by dictionary definition, refers to a woman only.

The Dunmer were a wild, unscrupulous people in Daggerfall -- sort of like Drow, I guess? The Real Barenziah was written for Daggerfall, and it shows.

Then Morrowind made them a conservative and religious society.

And people complain about Cyrodiil not being a jungle...

I also think that a lot of the information in those books (The Real Barenziah) is kind of suspect.

Also, IIRC, a Nord woman told Barenziah that dark elf women are promiscuous, which makes it even more suspect.

My point exactly. IIRC, she even tells young Berry that some are and some aren't.

Not true. Merriam-Webster's #2 definition is of a man who engages in sixual acts for money.

"Man-[censored]" just sounds special snowflakey.
