MY 1st EPIC Moment was when I arrived at Primm, and an escaped convict attacked me.
He swung and missed with a Crowbar (leaving his whole head exposed)
^{HEADSHOT!!! Brains everywhere.} I wanted to test depth of the game, and see how much control Bethesda gives us.
So I drag the body to a burning barrel and start to cook pieces of my fresh kill... ~Tasty~

I was running around and one of those ram things ran at me ed-e started that battle theme song and right when it ended i one shotted it with my single shotgun and it exploded and did a backflip...pretty freakin awesome

As soon i as I blew up my fist Powder Ganger by blowing up the Dynamite on his hip with my 9mm......just like old times....

I had to go into a building for some quest, and this NCR guy says "no tresspassing, blah blah blah" so eff him and I go inside with my companion Veronica. There's 4 guards taking a cap nap, and they start getting up to attack me. Well, Veronica, bless her heart, wasn't going to have any of that so she proceeds to run up and one shot each of them in a row before they even fully get off the cots they were on. I didn't even have time to draw my weapon.

I was walking down some lonely highway on my way to Novac, and I heard some shooting in the desert to the right of me.

I start walking over there, and all of a sudden see some baby radscorpions crawling toward me. I proceed to LOL and kill them, when suddenly BIG MAMA GIANT RADSCORPION APPEARS from behind some rock.

This [censored] was HUGE. No matter what I shot at it, I couldn't damage it.

I died.

I was heading toward that cross shaped thingy near goodsprings.. and see a small radcorpian.. muhahahaha!!! chop chop with my broad machete...I loot it and look up to see its rather upset mom and older brother... WHAMP WHAMP KERCHUNK!!!!!!!!!!! I wind up in the least heroic dead corpse pose possible sitting on my own head.

Not the epic moment, just the location and situation first. I took out the 2 Jackals outside the Highway Patrol Station, via dynamite from above since they seem to never miss from any distance.

So I go into the station totally forgetting to go back to my nine. Load screen goes away and a Jackal Leader and Jackal are in the room next to each other. I tossed a stick and one was sitting and the other was next to her standing. The one sitting had her head blown off and the other one landed on a desk.

This was followed moments later by my first epic fail. The nearby gas station I saw 3 little Radscorpions and was popping them off one by one. Well Mommy and Daddy Radscorpion had wicked high sneak because they both came up behind me and I had no idea how I died at first.

Early in the game when I got dynamite for the first time to protect the town at that guy while I had the radio kicking :mohawk:

Well, my funniest moment until now was when I ran across a small powder ganger camp and after headshooting one of them I killed the other two by shooting the dynamite that one was about to throw at me. After that I saw something like a compound or military base and thought: "Let's have a look." The moment I stepped out of the camp I heard and I just had enough time to say "[censored]!" and my leg was blown off by a mine.

Another time I ignored the warnings and tried to get to New Vegas through Deathclaw territory. Didn't see it, didn't hear it.... instant death, just saw some big claws near my body afterwards.

It took me 3 chances to get out of there lol

I couldn't be more jealous. I cannot wait to do awesome things and stupid things and totally get blindsided by deathclaws.

Friday (and the end of my self-imposed F:NV delay) cannot come soon enough.

it was around 5am, just got to stay up another hour to get breakfast,
the quest i was on began to bore me. so i set off to explore some mountains.

as i reach the summit of an average hill, i begin to see watch towers, surrounding some kind of yard with high fencing all around.
and down range 3 gangsters sitting at a table smack dab in the middle.

i pull out the tursty cowboy reapeter, set my sights on the less clothed one, and..
boom, my shot rang out, alerting those who just saw their friend's face shatter into pieces of my presence, but not of the location of it.
as they seperate and wonder off, each were but mere ants beneath my magnafying glass, ripe for the slaughter....

perhaps a bit mundane, but i like how the game has me straying away from the normal "wait for vats" mentality of fallout 3

After I finished in goodsprings, I went to the gravesite. I was just looking. At new Vegas glisten at night. I decide to head over there. Well, I see something and I go, ok, a bloatfly. After 3 shots I realize that it was a cazadore! It hit me once and I almost died. I ran towards new Vegas but there was a swarm of about 5 cazadores that owned me all at once. I screamed like a little girl.

Walking along side of mountain see a bighorner Shoots bighorner twice with shotgun slugs.. bighorner runs away with 2 hp left.. i follow
over hill im greeted by 9 other bighorner i proceed to getting rammed and rag dolled everywhere to death.

I battled a Feral Ghoul Reaver at Level 2 (and won!) - a bit southwest of Primm, near a pool of radiactivity. Though it was toned down quite a bit from F3 (less health, no slung goop), but it still nearly killed me. I frantically unloaded my Caravan Shotgun at its legs - hoping to cripple and ultimately kill the damn thing. Ran out of ammo just as it died. Thought I would try my luck for the two others loitering around the pool, but no dice.

While wandering randomly I came across Jean Skydiving and saw some Powder Gangers off in the distance... I'd estimate about 300 yards away. No VATS, I pulled up my Varmint Rifle and iron-sights aimed and shot him in the head. It was awesome.

Also, I went to Black Mountain. When [SPOILER REDACTED] was supposed to [SPOILER REDACTED], I was suddenly attacked by 4 Nightkin. I ran backwards, separating them so I could take them one-on-one (thanks, random episode of Rurouni Kenshin where the Battousai taught Yahiko the tactic!) and beat each one to death with their own rebar clubs. Luck.

I played 11 hours 22 minutes yesterday.

I was up in the hills North of GoodSprings. I saw a coyote that ended up between me and GoodSprings. I'm just about as high as I can go in the hills and can't even see details in the town, just rough buildings. I shoot at the Coyote and get a headshot.... of a Bighorner *IN TOWN*. I did manage to eventually kill the Coyote... just had to get closer.

Discovered the power of Helios One. It's epic.

When I jumped off the top of the roller coaster in Primm for the fun of it...

I went to stealth when i got to primm and aimed my rifle with it on hardcoe and on hard

i had 13% chance for a hit so i aimed down the sights and took a one shot one kill headshot and it was in slow motion and it was fr3akin awesome!

When I was getting really close to Vegas at night with Ain't That A Kick In The Head playing on the radio :fallout:
