Nothing's wrong with T-51b armor, but there is something wrong with Brotherhood T-51b armor, which is seemingly the only type of T-51b armor in New Vegas. I don't like the idea of appearing to be a BOS member to people just to wear the armor.

Oh i see. I'm currently working towards getting a truce wit the NCR so i can wear it 24/7 and not have to strip down every time i see some NCR soldiers lol.

Well since I joined up with NCR (this run) I feel its only fitting to wear NCR armor...
Although I pack around dirty pre-war clothing (don't remember the full name) for town...
And a set of Legion armor + the wolf head helm (so I can kill Legion members in there sleep)

Whats the strongest armor with the best benefits you have found? Me personaly,i found the spacesuit at the...well damn,I forgot the name of the place, its were you do the quest to help some gouls into the "far beyond" i like this suit, for some hard rubber,it does good, but lets just say that my vault 13 armor may need to get sold,it was good starter armor, but it was not good enough. Well tell you what you are wearing in new vegas. Screenie's would be welcome.

Best armor I found in the game at the very end of the game.

If there's anything better then I missed it. Yeah he looks like a [censored] but it gets the job done.

The mark 2 combat armor never dropped in hardcoe mode off of any mob. Not sure how to obtain it without buying it.

The best armor I found was the t51-b armor and helmet, but my last two characters have used advanced combat armor mkII, reinforced with the helmet.

EDIT: Just noticed the comments about the t51-b only being available in brotherhood variant, which causes you to have to strip down whenever you see NCR.

Find the quartermaster or whatever shes called next door to firing range in brotherhoods bunker. She sells t51-b armor and helmets that do NOT disguise you as brotherhood, so you can freely wear it in NCR territory.

To be fair, you're unlikely to have anything better than reinforced leather armour when you get to Novac initially, and the crit-bonus beret is way too nice to pass up at that stage. It's about practicalities, rather than posing...

NCR Ranger combat armor with 1st Recon beret and authority sunglasses.

That's my look as well and I think it's made all the more classy by my sweet 'stache chops.

I sported Boone's hat and the NCR combat armor look too until i joined up with the Brotherhood.

I liked it, made me feel like i was a NCR captain or something.

For the longest time I wore Reinforced Combat Armor Mk.II both the suit and helmet, MAN that was a good set of armor, the only other one I use is the Remnants Power Armor.

I'm currently wearing the 1st Recon Beret, Authority Glasses and the Bounty Hunter Duster. It's a nice wasteland wanderer fatigue.

Space Suit, Rebreather, and 1st Recon Beret.

Honestly, the Space Suit is pretty good for Light Armor as it has the properties of an Advanced Rad Suit.. and I never did find a better Light Armor alternative that wasn't faction-related..

vault 34 riot armor... straight beast with 16 DT and its light armor... and its only worth 55 caps at full repair compaired to combat armor which ahs 16 DT and is medium armor and is worth 5000 caps.. seriously wtf with that?

The Remnant Power Armor is definitely the best armor in the game if you're looking for pure DT. It also gives a boost to your strength and radiation resistance.

i was referring to halo 3, you ignorant imbecile.

umm I believe he was not referring to the topic but the way you presented it...in that text speak language. Me thinks he believes that while the usage of this is necessary/tolerated in phone texts and tweets, in a forum where you have a full keyboard at your disposal and thousands of characters, it seems out of place.

Im just guessing though...could be wrong. Personally, I find your use of the English written language to be both fascinating and informative! :D

ohh and ....leather armor, bandanna, and shades. Looking for a sleek suit to where so i can take off my shades, make some lame comment, and then put them back on and walk away with The Who song "Wont get fooled again" a la CSI Miami.
