Your best character endings

This is about the best endings your characters have had and what brought them about, this is mine.

Name:Craig Vantinius
Class:Monk(preset)
Race:Imperial
Sign:Tower
Level:21

Well this character was made to avenge my favourite ever ironman creation Syloria Vantinius who i rp`d to perfection up to level30 before dieing at the hands of umbra.
I decided to make a dark monk who overcome by grief has only one thing on his mind, the finding and killing of umbra. He had joined the morag tong to gain any information he could about this murderer when finally at level 21 he had heard a rumour about such a warrior in the hills of suran.

By this time i was getting bored of my character and was starting to get restartitis, but i thought i may as well attempt to finish the characters purpase even at this early level as i dont like deleting characters that i play without dieing first(another little ironman rule for me)
So i went up suran mountains unarmoured and carrying 4 exclusive restore health potions and a steel staff to confront umbra,it was an epic battle as soon as i saw him i flew into a rage and hit him with my star of the west ability, before punching him to the ground just barely surviving myself with a sliver of health and all my potions used.
After the slow beating to death umbra took i realized that it wasnt the orc that needed destroying it was the demon blade itself that had murdered syloria,so now with nothing to live for other than to destoy the blade he marched for days to reach Red mountain from the suran mountains.

When he had finally marched all the way up to dagoth urs citadel he stood on the platform above the lava pit, removed his robe, gold and misc papers and put them to one side, then equipped the umbra blade and leapt into the lava pit(it was so like teh end of terminator 2) when he fell into the lava he dropped the blade there and realized in his dieing moment that the blade was not sinking,it was floating ontop of the lava,he had had some vengeance at least but the the evil blade would live on.

This may not sound as cool as it actually was fot me but this was probably the only one one of my characters to ever truly fulfill his purpase, and in his death it felt like beating the game in a completely different way.

So there ya go, i wanna hear about any awesome/memorable endings whether they be chosen or accidental whether they fulfilled there destiny or fell a bit short

No it doesn't, it's about In-Game characters, not fan-fic characters or rp characters. It belongs in TES General.

That being said, I have ended very few characters, but I suffer regularly from restartitis. Mostly, I just click 'new game' and don't care what happens to the old. Usually, they die at the hands of a large group of ordinators in whatever killing-spree boredom has led me on.

:( I feel boring.

Really, the only more notable character of mine would be the one I made for my first run through Bloodmoon (having gathered that the expansion has no connection with the Nerevarine Prophecy). At first he was kindla mindless, roaming around the wilderness in Vvardenfell since I wanted to raise my level some before setting off to Solstheim. However, when he was level 25 and I decided to head off to Solstheim five levels early, I decided I'd RP him. Mostly because he was so darn boring to play without RP compared to my main and some secondary characters. Considering I hadn't managed to kill off anyone (important) yet, I jumped right into the role of an adventurous Breton spellsword (IIRC his name was Charles) by making the trip from somewhere around Molag Amur to Khuul, having already picked up the rumors of Solstheim.

The play with him was nothing short of awesome, and I fell in love with Bloodmoon; maybe it was the change from the ash of Vvardenfell and the dirty ruins and sewers of Mournhold, but the quest to 'restore the glory of the Skaal' by finding the ritual rock obelisk things and activating them in particular registered for me as an epic voyage of discovery. When the whole thing with the werewolves and the chieftain's capture cropped up I ditched lycanthropy (I had my temptations though, the cure I took on the third day), and had some more epicness in northern Solstheim (I was already anticipating a battle with giant Karstaag when I first heard of him, and seeing his castle and the size of that thing only made waiting better), getting involved in the Thirsk questline and being gifted a treasure by Thormoor or whoever. Which Charles hid in the Moesring Mountains, by the way, first marking the place. I was too lazy to haul it to Vvardenfell right then, where I could sell stuff for a good price, so I decided to put it off until wrapping up the main quest and then enjoy being filthy rich and live with the Skaal happily until death. Right.

The hack through Hircine's maze was one of the tougher battles I had in Morrowind and expansions, although I'd place it behind the whole mess at the end of Clockwork City. I chose to fight Hircine's strength aspect, and it was one hell of a battle; I downed around 5 health restoration potions in total, plus 2 health fortification, used two scrolls of invisibility to drink some of those potions and one scroll of summon golden saint, and I still had only some 30-40 health points left when I emerged victorious from the Hunt. I'm not exactly sure what happened next; maybe I cast the wrong spell (I suspect the birthsign power of the Serpent, last time I took THAT as my birthsign) or drank the wrong potion in my victorious carelessness, but I found myself dead upon attempting to rest.

However, I decided not to reload Charles; his death felt appropriate, a winner of a battle against a far superior opponent dying of wounds. It was a distinctly different ending for him than for my Nerevarine, who retired with a big bag of money to his Redoran Manor, but then Charles was an entirely different character, too - dying alone on an icy wasteland on the island he loved more than anything else in his life felt appropriate for the adventurer that Charles was, and it just showed he was a simple lucky human, not a divine hero like the Nevvy.

I had originally created a a breton who turned into a vampire (this is morrowind). I read online how to become one and just wanted to be a vampire for the sake of it. Man, were they ugly! Soon, I ended up getting huge bounties on my head, and I was never able to travel into towns. I killed indiscriminately, I ended up clearing out Tel Fyr (not the zombie part) and I killed Vivec, as well as other important npcs. Then I gathered all the artifacts in the tower of tel fyr.

Eventually I got so bored to the point where I wanted her to travel the lands of Morrowind, and I actually completed a map of the entire mainland. Then I began finding islands, and I found this one that looked to be paradise. Now, roleplaying wise my character was lonely. And had grown guilty of all the lives she had ended. She had collected items of great power, and accomplished tasks of epic proportions, yet she had no one to share it with.

So she lived on that island, with her books and monk robe. Enjoying the peaceful waterfall and scenery, wishing to see it just once in daylight.

And then she did, she waited until the sun rose, and died from sun damage watching that waterfall.

Then I started up the game again and created my khajiit thief.

I suppose I should write an ending for the Morrowind character I lost. It was my first and only character, but it lasted for years, and eventually that hard drive died. When last played he was either in Solstheim or the Private Mobile Base diligently cataloging a vast collection of captured souls, and contemplating what to do with a large cache of powerful artifacts.

My character in Oblivion had an epic death. I had soon gotten bored of ubering, so I used the construction set and filled all Cyrodiil with zombies. I kept the cities safe, adding tents and making it so the houses were filled with undead. So I set off on a mighty rampage through Cyrodiil, cutting down everything that hinted a taste of danger, completely obliterating the horde in the Western half of the province. I soon traveled to the East, on my white stallion. I rode through the hills and was ambushed by a army of the freaks! They killed my horse, and brought my health down to a pitiful low. I fought the last of them off, and cast turn undead on the rest. I dragged myself to the city of Bravil, where I found it overrun with zombies! I must have modded wrong, but they attacked on sight. And I managed to make it to the castle before I was killed. Inside I found 5 or 6 guards and the counts body guard had survived, so I cast a rally spel on them, and we charged out into the courtyard. I was killed after the 3rd wave, but I tell you, the battle was epic! The guards did suprisingly well, and only 2 of them died. I even saw them fighting after I was dead. EPIC
