The first time I played Oblivion. OB was my first TES game, so it was awesome at the time I played it the first time.

Another one was when I first time played Morrowind.

For me it was probably right after I left the sewers for the first time in Oblivion. I was so amazed at how good the world looked and I started exploring. Soon I was being chased by a Bandit when out of nowhere, an Imperial legion forester shoots the bandit right in the head, killing him instantly. That was pretty cool.

When I first got the gray cowl. As soon as I got it I put it on, and voila, Hieronymus Lex came running into the room. I couldn't stop laughing for the next 5 minutes. Then, I went to Bravil and using the Boots of Springheel Jack, jumped along the rooftops with the guards trying to get at me. It was awesome.

I think the exploration aspect of Morrowind really drew me in. Everytime I thought i'd seen it all, the game would hit me with something totally out of the ordinary.

Seen a regular dwemer ruin before? Sure. Seen a dwemer ruin under water? No way!

Seen a regular daedric shrine before? Sure. Seen one that can only be reached through a series of tombs and inside caves? No way!

Seen a regular tomb before? Sure. Seen one thats bigger than a city, which contains a labyrinth flooded with water and skeletons? No way!

Seen a Wereshark before? Me neither.

Out of all these moments, I remember exiting http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ald_Sotha after I finished (epically) looting the place, and looking east towards the water and the sun was kinda setting, and the sky was pretty much clear. Even though I had just finished slaughtering numerous daedra and daedric worshipers, I couldn't help but to stop and admire the beauty of the landscape. I lost track of reality that day. :)

Oblivion: Using the fireball spell (AOE kind) to take out a horde of worshippers in the caverns of the Mythic Dawn. My Xbox actually had slowdown taking out like ten fools at once. :D And there was another time I summoned a Flame Atronach familiar (Wizard's Tower) while fighting Mannimarco, and the Atronach hurled a fireball over my shoulder and killed Manni, tossing him into the waters. I was like, "...Wow. Can I do that again??"

Morrowind: The first time I downed a humanoid enemy with Hand to Hand. Its so difficult in the beginning, but when I did it, I was so excited. It was even better when I pwned minor vampires with it. :) And my first time in the Cavern of the Incarnate (which was recently). I was like, "WOAH. Waitaminute, what was that? You mean I'm really... No wonder everyone wants to kill me. >.>"

Don't [censored] with imperial foresters, they'll kill you dead.

1) First starting up Morrowind and seeing this amazing stream of water behind a building in the starter town (very impressive graphics at the time), then having this awesome sense of scope in this newly discovered game.

2) Wandering into the volcanic area of Morrowind for the first time (I forget what it's called), and having a fireball being hurled over my head. Turning around, seeing an unknown monster coming at me from the distance, and then turning and RUNNING

Recieving The Purification quest from Lucien Lachance. When he told me what I had to do I was like "Hell yeah!!!"

Also leaving the sewer system in Oblivion and getting my first look around. Jaw = dropped.

Emerging from the cave in Daggerfall with snow falling around me. I knew this was going to be different from all the prior RPG's I'd played.

obtaining umbra in morrowind at level 2 with only chitin armor, a longbow, a big rock inbetween us and about two hundred arrows, that sword carried me a LONG way through the game.

My best experience in an elder scrolls game was definitely in Oblivion. My Xbox was probably overheating at the time.

YES, this actually all happened in one sitting.

After walking out of the sewers for probably the thousandth time... I walked up the path towards the Imperial City and proceeded to sell my lot from the dungeon. When I walk out of Three Brothers Trade Goods I see one NPC walk up to another and say: "Hello." The other one responds "Good Bye." Without taking a single step the first one turns around and speaks to a different person and the same thing happens...

I then proceeded to go on a killing spree. Eventually all of my weapons broke and I managed to kill one guard, but I was almost out of health. I took his gear and ran away from through the market/prison exit. I ran around the side of the wall and proceeded to attempt to steal one of the horses from the stable. I tried to run away, but the horse got stuck where it was and a guard ran up and one-shotted me. I reloaded and tried again. This time I was able to get the horse a few feet out of the gate, but the guard still attacked me. He missed me and killed the horse while I was on it. I ran all the way across the bridge and finally lost him.

I started walking toward Weynon Priory, sticking to the main road though. As soon as I enter the Great Forests I come across a pile of dead bodies: One dead black bear, a dead Spriggan, a dead bandit bowman, a dead Legion forester, and two dead wolves. Standing over all of them with a somewhat stupid looking expression stood a paint horse. I proceeded to take pictures with my phone of course.

I continued on my journey until I found a bandit warlord on the path. I knew I didn't have enough health to kill him so I jumped on top of a nearby log and realized it was hollowed out. I hid inside. About a minute later, an imperial Forester comes by and kills the bandit, but he doesn't run up to me because my bounty isn't high enough...

After that I just gave up and fast traveled.

My favorite all time moment looking back was actually something that made me pretty angry at the time. I was playing Morrowwind, and I had gotten to some really high levels. I had several crafted magic items that gave permanent health regeneration made from Golden Saint souls and a ridiculously high acrobatics skill. I was cruising around, jumping up the sides of mountains, leaping down like a madman, and generally just doing the godstomp on anything I came across. I leaped from a particularly tall peak, and happened to land in a camp full of Dunmer, one of which is wielding the dreaded two handed hammer. Upon hitting the ground my legs collapse, placing me into a stunned state. The evil chick with the big hammer and her buddies proceed to assault me brutally, but their spirited attempts to hurt me are no match for my mighty regeneration artifacts. Unfortunately, I seemed to have no protection against the hammer chicks knockdown. 45 minutes later, I finally decide that I will never manage to get up and am forced to hit reset... this of course loses me 7+ hours of gameplay, mostly because saving becomes a lot less urgent when you are an invincible hero! :)

Anyway, at the time it was terrible, but has become an epic tale to tell when I meet fellow traveler's from TES.
