Your best most awesome moment in any TES game...

Once playing oblivion I was not using the local map and got completely lost in an ayleid ruin, being chased by skeletons and having barely any health/supplies and a near broken weapon I just thought this is freakin awesome. whoever says you cant get immersed in vanilla oblivion!

The people who constantly witness NPC conversations like

"Hey"

"I saw a mudcrab the other day"

"NO!"

"Any word from the other parts of tamriel?"

"Goodbye"

"Bye"

:P

But a good moment for me would be when I was entering the...manor with corprus monsters in Ald-Ruhn, and I was literally too scared to open the door

I heard an NPC conversation long time ago and it was like: WTF? i dont remember it very well, but they were talking with the preset dialogs, something like "Do you know anything from the other provinces?" and then suddenly, the other answered: "Shut Up!", it was crazy!

Once, when I jumped off of Dive Rock in Oblivion to kill myself, but lived with about 61 Health remaining.. :brokencomputer:
Xbox Version, so no cheats.

Also, I had high Acrobatics and I run incredibly fast, so I landed pretty far away. How didn't it kill me?

Thought it was pretty awesome, though.

Probably, my most awesome moment was in Daggerfall. I was on a mission to kill a Dragonling for the Order of the Scarab. The dungeon I was sent to had some daedra in it and a ton of spellcasters. Then I started to role-play that these wizards must be up to creating some sort of Daedric Dragon race by some magical means. When I found the Dragonling, it was surrounded by several Battlemages, so it's like everything fitted perfectly. I'm pretty sure it's not possible to cross dragons and daedras, lore-wise, but I guess those spellcasters must have been pretty insane to begin with, so even if there was something that obviously proves it's not possible, they would still have tried it.

About a half hour long fight when I ran into the Uderfyke Matron by accident at level 2. Was playing as a barbarian, nothing but fur armour, a bow and an iron axe. Chased me all over the Jerral Mountains, killed everything in its path, I popped off a few arrows every now and again cause whenever it hit me I nearly died

Eventually I tricked it into jumping off of Dive Rock by baiting it then jumping out of the way

Infilitrating the Caldera Ebony mines for house Hlaalu. Was assigned to find out who has been stealing money from the treasury. Turns out to be a fellow thieves guild member, so I decide to tell Crassius that the thief got away.

He knows I'm lying and is disappointed, but gives me money to reimburse the mine treasury. The mine boss, being worse at speechcraft, believes my lie and gives me a nice reward.

Bloodmoon: I forget the name of the place, but it was in a barrow. I found this really cool sword on a pedestal, and picked it up. I then opened my journal, and the entry said some things, then skipped a few lines, and finished with "I am not alone..." I was worried cause I was only about level 5, so I close my journal and turned around, and standing behind me were two Draugr. At that point in time, my Eye of Night ran out, so I sped out of that barrow ASAP.

In Daggerfall, I asked for a quest from the FG and it was the usual "...there is a loup, whatcha call it...were...wolf..." it usually winds up being just a bear, but he was offering 202 gold pieces for it. So off I got to the freakin' biggest dungeon I've ever seen and on top of that blood-thirsty warriors and barbarians impede me in everyroom and corner. Daggerfall with sound is so scarry, especially with 2-3 hp left and not being able to rest because of enemies being nearby. This is the ultimate TES experience.

Oh and btw the creature did wind up being a Werewolf immune to normal weapons... :bolt:

When I was on my old Argonian Scout, I was finishing the last Shivering Isles main storyline mission
Spoiler
I was fighting the Order outside Sheogorath's Palace, and it was dark, cloudy, and my saints, dark seducers were being owned, and I was low on energy and then with a pip of might I fight all the remaining knights, and then I thought I was done, expecting some quest to lead me to Jiggalag(spelling? lol) and his lair or w/e, then this burst of light that kills my surviving saints and as it strikes down on the ground I hear "JYGGALAG!" and then I had a epic fight with him. Boy was that unexpected lol

Those Daggerfall moments are epic. Castles Wayrest and Sentinel were something too big for me back then, when there were no cheats available. I must have spent 2 real days looking for the wayrest painting. Entering the room and seeing it there gave me more sense of accomplishment than 10 playthroughs of TES4 ever could. The Sentinel lich I found more easily, but the gate puzzle took me some hours -.-

Curing lychantropy back then was something epic too, since we had no internet and we only knew a rumour that you need to find a witche's coven. And you all know how damn easy it it to just happen to stumble upon one.

For me, it was wandering Vvardenfell for the first time. It was the first time I had ever played an open-world game, so I just started running across the island, endlessly exploring. Around the time I got to Vivec city, it just hit me how massive the game world was. I don't think I've ever been more in love with a game.

Some Daggerfall moments are fun though. I was supposed to find some ingredient or another in a dungeon for the Mages guild. Looking around a room I was in, I could see a raised platform with the ingredient on it but no way to reach it (I hadn't purchased the levitation spell yet). I spent hours trying to puzzle it when, in frustration, I hit my keyboard. My char had been looking at a manacle on a chain, and hitting my space bar activated a levitate spell when looking at the chair. I had one of those "Dooh," moments.

I remember that. I stood outside that door for ten minutes. The undead house in Skingrad didn't scare me nearly as much as Morvayn Manor.

Watching Akulakhan be destroyed was awesome. Although walking down Red Mountain under a clear sky was the best, I think.

I liked the view from above the Imperial City in the fight involved with becoming the Divine Crusader. That's my favorite moment.

The most epic moment I had was when I was playing around in Oblivion, and I ran into a gigantic dragon (akatosh mounts scaled up and littered throughout the world, as well as made uber strong) and naturally being a Nordic Wizard, I took up a long and engaging fight. At the end of it, I struck down the dragon and he rolled all the way down the mountain, while I stood at the peak triumphant.

And this is all while having viking metal playing in the background, and many of the hard parts of the battle synced perfectly with the songs, so naturally it was all made more epic just by that.

Getting lost in the Bitter Coast coast during a thunderstorm during an actual thunderstorm.

It happened only a few weeks ago. The real life weather really emphasized the immersion.

Morrowind on the xbox. I was in Mournhold (spelled wrong most likly) I gave this guy like 20,000 gold and he asked for 100,000 more so I attacked him and he dissapeared. The next time I went through there he was in ebony armor and I could not hit him with any weapon?! so I did what I do best got my fists out are started boxing the guy .... it took many heal spells an potions but I killed him adventually, and his enchanted amulet was pretty awesome.

A tied moment ..... the vaults in Vivic. The three Great Houses have the three Greates Vaults. Stealth at 100, lockpick was close, I enchanted (not sure wich one) a more expensive amulet with Chamelion (Spelled wrong) I got it to 50% yes!!!! So I go in and sneak past the many gaurds creeping every step of the way. I got into the the first one and ....... all the riches and complete glass armor set, the gold, the jewels ...... oh man but I didn't stop there, I went vault to vault getting more riches and armour sets as I go. It was awesome.
