You're right of course. The short height is perhaps the biggest challenge, since the rest can be handled via the magic of Hollywood.

Sean Connery for my Imperial Agent (you know James Bond TES style).
Sean Bean as my breton ranger.

Although I don't really see Sean Bean holding a bow instead of a rifle but there you go...(the other choice was Orlando Bloom in Legolas version)

If I had to use a mainstream actress I think I would choose Alisson Lohman to play Valiri. Cute, petite redhead. ^_^ But if I could have anyone I wanted, I would choose this girl who I work with. When I first saw her I thought I was seeing things because of how closely she resembled this character from my imagination.
