Your character will have a voice, which one is the sixiest

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 8:14 am

Back on topic, my choices are:
Mer: Bosmer
Humans: Nords
Beastmen: Argonians
Cursed Folk: Orcs
Overall: Orcs

As to why I liked the voices of orcs the most, I like being greeted by their tough and gruff greetings and that really loud cough they have in Morrowind. I'm only going to assume it'll be something similar to being as tough and gruff as MW's.

Yes on topic. You mention the Bosmer, I wonder if they are going to get a squeaky annoying voice again or if they will get a good one this time.

Edit* I also agree with you there, Orcs have a fantastic voice...

Oh and, Boo yah! Disciple. Took me long enough. :celebration:

See? And you people think us Dunmer are bad

Us Ayleids try to be as iron-fisted of dictators as we can. We can't have you late bloomer Dunmer taking all our fire. Besides, Dunmer are just rude, we were the original slavemasters and the Dunmer are just copying us!

On topic:

Mer-Ayleid
Humans- Nord
Beastfolk- Argonian
Cursed losers- Dunmer
Overall- Ayleid

You know, I'm really glad we had that debate, I think we have increased the average thread reader's lore knowledge by 300%

Absolutely not, I wrote many very long letters asking them to give them better voices, and got a nice e-mail with a sample of one of the new voices. A delightful sample I'm most pleased with, which Is why I voted Bosmer all the way ^_^

Seriously I *really* hope they Bosmer are not a running joke again.

Edit* @TTT yeah, you bestfolk just have had a rough time. Not to mention your addiction to the sugar. :nono:

I hope it's not so squeaky, and they're made less of a joke race, and more animalistic. When I hear bosmer, I want to think "A Dance in Fire" instead of the adoring fan or the bullied Fargoth. Then again, I hate anything altmer

In the game, never. 10 playable races are confirmed, probably the same 10 as in Oblivion.

In the poll, eh, half an hour ago?

I have my sources, though it's easy enough to find if you know where to look.

The Falmer are out now. How it's clear to you ^_^. If you figured it out I'm glad you know how to solve a simple riddle. If you haven't

A riddle would imply that there were clues given, that based from them alone, it could be solved.
However, based on all the OFFICIAL information, and OFFICIAL screenshots, there is nothing mentioning Snow Elves. And based from lore they are pretty much extinct. Barring what blue-skinned creatures that have been seen in past games that are RUMORED to be distant relatives of the Falmer. Of which no proof has been provided. Only in-world speculation.

EDIT:
All we have is speculation on Dwemer, or Dwarvers from the screenshot that appears to feature structures similar to theirs.

I agree. Where are my brutal cannibalistic Bosmer that make me paranoid of shadows in the woods? C'mon Bethesda! Make me not feel as bad when I slaughter them.

if they add scottish/irish accent to nords .. which i think they will ... nords will have it

Im wondering why you think the nords will get scottish/irish accent. if they get it its weird because nords are up in the nordic/scandinavian countrys and they dont use scott/iri accent they use Nordic accent.
but ofc no one wants the ugly nordic accent you will get in some of these bad informed tv-shows. i want a dark nordic accent for the voice.,if its a nord .

Oh noes :( It always makes me feel weird when I'm roleplaying a character then I hear their voice. It just makes it all suddenly too cinematic. If this is in, I'll disable it as possible. I can see why people would want it, but it's not for me.

Oh double noes :( Then I'd just have butchered attempts at clichéd Scottish accents.
