Your characters favorite thing...

Post » Thu Oct 28, 2010 12:07 pm

The title pretty much says it all. It can be anything from weapons, armour, clothing, jewellry, spells, homes, horses. Literally anything!

But you have to give a reason as to WHY it is your characters favorite thing, and also you can have more than one if need be.

Lissa's favorite things:

Her jade necklace. Her sister, Maelona gave her this for her sixth birthday. Mae claims it is magic, yet Lissa hasn't discovered what enchantment it posseses; if any.

Her war hammer. Her late fathers hammer, Shatterheart, was given to her by her aunt Rohssan. She has never parted with it and, if she ever needs to part with it, she will do so with sorrow in her heart.

Your turn :)

Skooma. Lathon can't part without it. He wants to, but he can't help it. Lives in bravil, in Silver-on-the-water.

Sabarel can't live without her Grandmaster Alchemy set. It has taken her a long time to finally collect it all and has one of every level on display at her home in Anvil. She also takes pride in her Arch-Mage Robe, Cloak and Hood. They increase her Magicka by roughly 75 each and she wears them everywhere even if she isn't going on offical Mages Guild business.

Euisa takes her white stalion Shadow everywhere she goes, weither it be chasing trolls through the wilderness or running a message to Leyawin she takes him everytime. He has never gotten her into trouble and just keeps on running if trouble is around. She also carries her Daedric Shield and Sword everywhere with her, they form a perfect set as her Sword breaks any foes weapon while her Shield doubles up as both a light source and magical barrier. Her sister Sabarel enchanted them for her when she joined the Mages Guild as a welcoming gift.

Lothran′s fav thing must be his house in Bruma. He loves it and the rest of the town as well due to its nordic touch. He′s always been somewhat more of a Nord than Dunmer

hmm, well my breton spellsword Rohan's favorite thing would have to have been his great sword called the world eater's fang. He enchanted it with the sigil stone from the battle at bruma, and the base sword is a perma bound claymore he made when his armorer and conjuration reached 75. Neither were majors so they took a while.

My new character's favorite thing is his atronoch familiar. Being a traveling nordic mage is lonely so hes glad for the company and help stormy gives

What are my favourite things?.
Easy. Azura's Star. My love, Azrael gave me this reusable soul gem on my 18th birthday. Only for guards to take it from me and arrest all my friends, and imprison me in Cyrodiil! It would seem that Azrael has Azura's favour, however, for at the Shrine Of Azura, the daedric prince tasked me with a quest. Once I had completed it, Azura revealed that She was merely testing, to see if I was "her champions star", whatever that means. As it turns out, I am and she gave me the gem. The exact gem Azrael gave me...I keep meaning to ask him about that.

Rand's favorite thing is his closet full of other people's shoes. He goes on rampages and stacks the shoes in the closet so that they overflow and take hours to clean up when the door is opened.

After her friends and precious black mare, Superian? I'd say Buffy's fave thing is her bow, Slayer. The weapon keeps her alive and that's pretty important, she figures. See? http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Acadian6/Cho%20Bk%201/ScreenShot732.jpg

My character's favorite thing is Dawnfang/Duskfang. It's ornately unique, a very capable weapon, and, in a way, it recharges itself. It doesn't match with any of his armor and is the weak link in his armor sets, but oh well.

Cayo's favourite thing?....either his portable house (a little tower that can be dropped and turned into a big (battle)mage's tower only by touching it), or his http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/3961/screenshot6av.jpg.

Calonderiels favorite thing is probably his sword, Salum At-sen. Though he is a mystic archer, he uses it when the enemy comes close. I like it because of its looks and because of terribly strong enchantments. I think he is more a warrior than an archer though. Wylenteriels favorite thing is his first axe, the steel one I bought at slash n' smash (yes, i skipped everything in the whole starting dungeon).

A fan of Altmer? ;)

Chani's favourite thing is her unenchanted silver dagger (I know, it's not much), which she uses to deliver poisons. She'll probably become quite attached to the Blade Of Woe when she gets into the Dark Brothehood.

Yes, I'm a fan of altmer. By the way, Linderiel, Altmer Hand to Hand specialist often wears his light brown linens I enchanted with Shield, along with his leather bracers, enchanted with forify H2H. Devaberiel, Altmer Noble uses his sword quite often, I like it because the terribly strong enchatments, just like Cal's sword.

We thought long and hard on this and finally decided my decrepit avatar is not much on material possessions. You wouldn't guess it with all the homes he owns, some quite costly and elaborate. Truth to tell, he was just as happy back when his nights were spent at Fighter and Mage guild halls, Legion towers, and the occasional wilderness/dungeon bedroll. He does take pride in his set of Imperial Dragon armor. He worked long and hard for that armor. What's more, the Imperial Legion accepts it as an authorized uniform. He wears it almost constantly, donning other attire only briefly for special circumstances. I suppose he is also rather pleased with his standard-wear jewelry pieces; Mundane Ring, Ring of the Iron Fist, Necklace of Swords. These too are replaced only at need. Of course there's that nice shield he acquired out Chorrol way. And his mount Arrowspeed. And ... no no ... you get the idea. He likes best those items which help him accomplish his daily chores.

All that said, his "favorite thing" is not a physical item but rather a task. He regularly patrols Cyrodiil's major thoroughfares between the Imperial City and each major city (Kvatch excepted) in turn, in the guise of Legionnaire as assigned by the Elder Council Department of Justice housed in the Palace. He takes these commissions quite seriously, letting nothing distract him as he clears each road of criminal scum, monsters and roving wildlife. Patrols provide steady meaningful employment and keep him in good grace with the powers that be. They fit in with his firm believe in the preservation of the Empire and its institutions. At times, as when between major private commissions, patrols are his primary means of livelihood.

My Dunmer theif, Moonglum, is obsessed with anything silver. If it's silver he has to have it. His has a massive silver hoard, nicely arrayed and lovingly polished, in his house in Bruma :hubbahubba: .

Hail, fellow soldier! Good to see another Legion member in those lawless forums :) I'm a Battlemage Officer (currently Captain) stationed at Fort Akatosh, a bit northeast of Bravil. I've also had my share of road patrolling in my Recruit times :) but now I mostly get ordered to do some missions from time to time (although I always end up having to patrol some road or another at some time).

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things!

Ahem.

My main character, Nona Sintalius, was, unfortunately, too tied up with being concerned about the survival of Martin Septim and protecting Cyrodiil in order to really enjoy herself, and thus found herself feeling a bit lost and empty once Dagon was banished. A sad tale, really.

I'm currently playing on a Mages Guild member, Zoey Tarellond, whose favorite thing right now is her Robe of the Conjurer, a symbol of her recent promotion! The most meaningful items to her are her alchemical equipment. Despite being an Expert in Alchemy, she still only uses Apprentice equipment, as they are all she has left of her now-deceased parents.

Elinroth's favorite thing is to have no plans. He decided to roam Cyrodil seeking ingredients for his Alchemy hobby while doing any quests he encounters along the way.

No fast travelling of course

My characters usually love to wander the wilderness collecting alchemy ingredients. I love to hear the "click" when you successfully harvest an ingredient, or finding some Steel-Blue Entoloma under some tall grasses in the Great Forest. Maybe it's kind of silly, but I just love doing that.

Echo Souvienne's favorite thing is Life. Given that Echo is often dead, this is a very significant thing indeed.

Echo Souvienne is my newest "project." She's a Breton played at high difficulty, "dead-is-dead" but with a twist; she starts life again all over, but with a completely different set of randomly-generated statistics, and one generic item from her previous incarnation is placed into the world, into a special chest hidden in Vilverin. (I've created a small mod for this purpose.)

That's really interesting! Does she retain any of her past memories? Is there a curse, or some reason behind why this happens to her?
