Your Characters?

Post » Fri Apr 01, 2011 6:15 am

Well I haven't seen i thread like this and i am very iinterested in other peoples character and armour weapons they like to use, well last night i made what will hopefully be my long term character,
i have a lvl 25 warrior but i want to play somthing more interesting with a little bit of roleplay, so post your character like i am, and your favourite vanilla SI or KOTN weapons armour, thanks :)

Race: Altmer (High Elf)
Birthsign: Atronach
Class: Shaman
Magic
Willpower, Strength
Blunt, Light armour, Destruction, Alteration, Restoration, Alchemy, Illusion

This is my shaman character ( i tried getting the blunt and light armour from the WoW view of a shammy) he uses a two handed enchanted mace (well soon) and light armour, he will join the mages guild and maybe fighters guild,he has very powerful destruction and alteration magic, and has a good swing with a mace, light armour is there aswell. his father always told him to explore the ruins of their ancestors to search for ayleid artifacts, (statues, weklynd stones, varla stones) he uses weklynd stones and potions to revive he stunted magicka if needed, when he levels up i want him with amber armour and amber 2 hand mace, these are my favourite vanilla weapons armour, :)

This is the best answer I can offer:

Some interesting builds are not there, so you may get some good additions, meanwhile you can check these out.

Race: Bosmer (wood elf)
Birthsign: Mage
Class: Bowgirl (Mystic Archer)
Magic
Agility, Intelligence
Marksman, Restoration, one major skill she only uses to help her level, and four more she never touches (her top design level is 20)

Buffy is a simple elf from Bravil. Rather than marching through some script that I give her regarding quests and guilds and such, she dances along her own path. I simply travel with her sometimes offering advice; sometimes she listens. She does keep a detailed journal of her life, which is linked in our signature below (as well as a screenie).

Race: Bosmer
Birthsign: Apprentice
Class: plays as pure mage
Specialisation Magic,
Favoured attributes: intelligence, luck
Current level 26
Skills with values as I remember: destruction (100), conjugation(82), illusion(76), alteration(53), acrobatic(57), sneak(52), blade(36)

Use destruction as primary weapon. Prefer to cast a series of this spells at an enemy at long distance, if it fails she summons a clanfear. Uses frenzy against groups, often followed by some fire support and a clanfear.
Last day she has start using command humanoid or creature as she can cast expert illusion spells, great fun.

Glass cannon as with low endurance so she have around 150 in health, no armor but a fire shield 25 enchantment, and a resist fire 35% shock 35% ring, rest is fortify magic 50.
Even with 100% weakness to magic she rarely dies, mostly because of the ranged self stacked magic and summons.

Impulsive character does lots of things because they look fun, like throwing fireballs at bookcases, spent a decent time in jail because of fun ideas, feels very at home in Bliss at SI.

The link that pdesbois gave you is definitely worth checking out.

Race: Redguard
Birthsign: Warrior
Class: Ansei
Combat
Endurance & Luck
Blade, Blunt, Heavy Armor, Light Armor, Marksman, Conjuration, Alchemy

Lionel hails from the village of Kamver Falls in Hammerfell, so he shares his people’s disdain for magic. The only exception to this rule is the Bound Dagger spell that he uses to train his Conjuration skill high enough to form the Shehai (Bound Longsword). Healing is done through his journeyman’s knowledge of Alchemy, which he considers a science instead of a form of magic.

He is skilled with both types of armor and with all types of weapons. There is no honor in thievery or assassination so the skills that augment the acts (Security and Sneak) are pretty much ignored. He enjoys talking with people and haggling with the shopkeepers, even though he isn’t very good at either.

He respects the Imperial Nine Divines and the dark power of the Daedric pantheon, but he will never pray to them. He reserves his prayers for the Ebonarm and the unknown Gods of War (who for some reason never listen). His Temple of worship is the Arena. He views Gaiden Shinji as his patron saint. He also sells his sword through the Fighter’s Guild when he is not using it in the Arena.

Present character:

Race: Altmer
Birthsign: Apprentice
Class: Alchemist
Magic
Intelligence, Willpower
Alchemy (80-something), Alteration (50ish), Conjuration (100), Illusion (50ish), Restoration (40-something), Mercantile, Speechcraft
Current Level: 17

This is a roleplay challenge character. Her name is Silvonwe, and she was apprentice to Sinderion of Skingrad. Her job, prior to the unfortunate event that got her involved in the Oblivion Crisis, was to travel around Cyrodiil collecting rare ingredients, and selling her master's rare potions to the various merchants.

This character uses no weapons other than a mages staff, and relies almost completely on summoned daedra, and her alchemy, in dealing with enemies. She is very weak to magic, and her strength and endurance are very low, and uses alchemy and enchanted clothing to improve her chance of survival.

My favorite characters?

Race: Breton

Birthsign: The Mage

Favored Attributes: Intelligence, Willpower

Major Skills

Alteration
Blade
Block
Heavy Armor
Conjuration
Illusion
Mysticism

What seperates a Cultist from a battlemage? The fact that favored attributes neither has strength or endurance. Stat wise they're identical to a pure aside from the use of a blade and heavy armor. So they're much more like a Sorceror but with the use of a sword and shield. My character, on the other hand, eventually mastered Destruction despite it being a minor school and hardly used Alteration. Roleplaying wise I figured he was naturally good at Alteration but it wasn't something he focused on. His Mysticism is rather on the low side as well but the rest are all mastered (except block). He's currently level 41.

My Orc is another favorite.

Race: Orc (as mentioned above)

Class: Warlord

Birthsign: The Warrior

Specialization: Combat

Favorite Attributes: Strength, Endurance

Major Skills

Armorer, Block, Blunt, Hand to Hand, Heavy Armor, Alchemy, Marksman.

The Warlord is a fearsome combatant that knows how to live off the land, fight in heavy armor, use a bow, repair his own equipment, and battle it out with his fists if he's disarmed. The Warlord is never truly without a weapon and is dangerous even caught off guard. Think you have him beat because you disintegrated his weapon? Think again. He'll fortify his attributes, use insanely powerful health potions, and smash you into the dust with his fists. A true Lord of War.

And my final character to make it among my mains after many deletions is very similar to my Warlord in ways but quite different in others.

Race: Nord

Class: Paladin

Birthsign: The Warrior (but many other signs could have worked as well)

Specialization: Combat

Favored Attributes: Strength and Endurance (Speed could have easily been substituted for either one)

Major Skills

Alchemy, Armorer, Blade, Block, Alteration, Restoration, Heavy Armor

My current character, which I am role-playing, is named Bowin Arreaux. The character stats follow...

Race - Dunmer
Class - Avenger (Custom)
six - Male
Sign - The Apprentice
Specialization - Magic
Attributes - Strength and Agility
Skills - Blade, Marksman, Sneak, Light Armor, Destruction, Alteration, Mysticism

Current Level - 12

Bowin Arreaux was born in Cyrodiil, the son of Dunmer refugees from Morrowind. From an early age, his father trained him in the arts of swordsmanship and archery. One day, his father left for Morrowind on what he called "an errand of utmost importance". That was the last time Bowin saw his father alive. When he became old enough, he left home for Morrowind in search of his father. While investigating, he learned that his father had been killed by rogue mages...conjurors. This was only a rumor until he discovered his fathers remains in a cave next to 3 dead conjurors. Deeply saddened and intensely angry, he returned to Cyrodiil to inform his mother of her husband's fate. Upon arrival in Cyrodiil, he was immediately arrested for the murder of his father. Obviously someone didn't want him spreading tales of rogue mages killing good honest men. While in prison, fortune smiled on him. Apparently a secret passage known only to the Blades began in his cell. Uriel Septim himself, along with several of his Blades, showed up one day and Bowin was able to make his escape from prison. What happened in the passages after that is history. Bowin did take the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre in Weynon Pryory, but beyond that...well...he had no time to look for heirs. He needed to get home to see his mother. When he got home, his mother was gone. Nothing but a cryptic note telling him where the armor and weapons that his father had left for him were located. So now Bowin searches Cyrodiil for his mother and for vengance against conjurors. He will help those in need when asked, and won't kill for the sake of killing...except conjurors, of course.........there is more to this, but too much to write here. Bowin's home and the armor and weapons his father left are in a mod that I made for this role-playing scenario.

Race: Bosmer
Birthsign: The Thief
Class: Forester
Specialisation Stealth
Favoured attributes: Agility, Speed
Current level 11
Major Skills Block, Conjuration, Destruction, Light Armor, Marksman, Mercantile, Sneak (of these I only really use 3 on a regular basis - Conjuration, Marksman, Sneak - the others are to keep me from leveling up too fast).

Teresa is a pale wood elf who dyes her hair red. Raised by Simplicia the Slow, Teresa is an orphan from the streets of the Imperial City, she has no idea who her real parents were. In spite of being born and raised in the city, she finds herself most at home in the wilderness. Worshiping the Aedric Sprits who sacrificed themselves to create Nirn, she follows her spirit guide Raven wherever he leads her. She is primarily an archer and alchemist, but also summons the animals of the forest to help her in difficult fights. Furthermore, she is strangely drawn to Ayleid ruins, and has taken it upon herself to find and investigate them all.

This is a strange set up. It is not stat-ideal, and its not really a roleplay class. It is simply a collection of what I have found to be my favorite things in the game. PM me if you want to know about how I play it or anything.

my main is a mercinary/ranger type hunting the now broken up (fictional army) of the black hand (in the form of bandit camps)

I patrol along rivers, around lakes, in the valleys and canyons of the valus mountains.. slaying them all and spying on the ones I dont.

I also have an argonian wraithslayer.. i purge the world of the living dead, freeing them from their tormented limbo state.

I only carry whats realistic, dont jump in water, eat, drink, read, only light torches when i find a fire source, turn the brightness down on my tv so caves are pitch black without a torch, never use the local map or fast travel etc..

I cant not roleplay when i play this game, its second nature, same with F:NV.

My main, and most played character is as follows.

Name: Helena Aurelie
Race: Breton
Gender: Female

Date Of Birth: 10th Sun's Height, 3E415
Birthsign: The Apprentice

Class: Healer
Skills: Restoration, Conjuration and Illusion. The rest of her majors are to limit levelling. She uses all other magic schools except for Destruction.

As a Healer, Helena is a kind soul. If she sees anyone in need of help, she'll more than likely provide it. She detests violence and refuses to use Destruction magic, far preferring to use Illusion to pass unseen, or if violence is necessary, to deal damage indirectly. That being said, she despises Necromancy and has no qualms killing off an entire cave...if she can get over her fear of the dark.
Her parents were killed when she was but thirteen, after that she begged and scrounged a living in Jehanna until a passing mage noticed her talents and took her in. I wouldn't want to spoil her journal anymore than that :)

Second, less played character.

Name: Varesa Ienith
Race: Dunmer
Gender: Female

Birthsign: The Apprentice

Class: Nightblade
Skills: Illusion, Marksman, Blade (limited levelling again). She also dabbles in the other magic schools, notably Conjuration.

Not a cold blooded killer, Varesa is, however, somewhat morally ambiguous. She will happily steal from the rich, and exact vengeance on those who wrong her. Her roleplay is that she's a Telvanni Nightblade who was banished to Cyrodiil by her master for interrupting an experiment. Here, in Cyrodiil, she fights for Dunmer supremacy.

I have a third character I'm in the process of dreaming up. Think Nord, think Hunter/Ranger/Shaman kinda thing.

My current RP character is Elberond.

Race: Bosmer
Age: 24
Birthsign: Thief
Class: Recon Sniper (custom)
Specialization: Stealth
Favored Attributes: Agility, Speed
Major Skills: Alchemy, Illusion, Mysticism, Acrobatics, Light Armor, Marksman, Sneak

Elberond is from Woodhearth in Valenwood. He came to Cyrodiil to investigate the death of his uncle (owner of Frostcraig Spire) and the disappearance of his father. Growing up, Elberond was trained in magic by his uncle, alchemy by his mother and archery by his father. After discovering that his uncle's death and his father's disappearance were the work of Necromancers, he developed a deep hatred for these practitioners of the dark arts and their undead minions. While seeking the leader of the responsible Necromancer sect, he stumbled into the main quest. Realizing that the Oblivion Crisis threatened all of Tamriel, including his beloved homeland, he put his skills to use in an effort to help resolve the crisis. In combat, he uses spells, poisons and an enchanted bow to bring down his foes. He also uses an enchanted shortsword for those who get too close for a bow to be very effective (which is a very rare occasion). His last resort is a dagger so heavily enchanted that it takes a grand soul to recharge it after a single use. If he feels it necessary to retreat, he will cast a spell that turns him invisible for 30 seconds and summons a Clannfear for 45 seconds. He originally summoned a Skeleton warrior, but can no longer bring himself to do so.

Name: Malephicent
Gender: female
Race: Altmer
Class: Sorceress (custom class)
Birthsign: um...Serpent...unsure why I chose that for this character...
Level: 8

She's a mage character, whose class is based off the vanilla sorcerer but instead with "illusion" replacing "alchemy" and "blunt" replacing "heavy armor." This is because of a mod I have that introduces staves as enchanted blunt weapons. She relies mostly on magic, with mages' staves and the blunt staves as backup, although the latter is primarily used when she's ambushed by surprise or her magicka is drained. Her strength is obviously low and is kept that way, so the blunt skill isn't that much use to her. She has a fox companion/familiar and has just gained access to the Arcane University.

She's more or less good alignment, at least that's what she portrays herself as. In secret though she worships the Daedra, much like her relatives on Summerset Isle, particularly Sanguine. Additionally, being young and naive, she is becoming increasingly curious of Necromancy, as she had no previous exposure to it until doing tasks for the Mages' Guild and hearing their discussions of it.

Return to IV - Oblivion
