Is your computer going to be able to handle Skyrim?

Post » Sun Oct 09, 2011 7:52 am

Weirdly even though my computer's specs are quite good, im periodically lagging in oblivion already (probably due to textures and unique landscape mods)

So after seeing the gameplay demo for skyrim :shakehead: i'll probably lag like hell.

There be many a reason lag or stuttering can occur in Oblivion.

I can play Battlefield 3 on medium to high, with somewhere around 40-60 FPS.

Let's hope I can run Skyrim at a Solid 60.

Probably at low-medium settings, as I am running on an intel labtop.

But I rather have skyrim on my pc rather than my xbox =)

Doesn't matter. I'm not using my computer for Skyrim playing, only information gathering.

I use my 360. ^_^

8 core cpu 3.6GHz and a GTX 580 3GB Phantom it should be able to play it on max but I'm probably going to get another GTX 580 next year or a new one (GTX 590 or a new one from the speculated 600 series)
