I get the same message after playing a few minutes of gameplay as well. I don't know what causes it though. I will keep an eye on this post though to see if anyone else has any solutions, I didn't think it was my internet either.

I get somthing simular "The connection to your opponent has been lost" after 5 minutes of playing. I tried everything with my D-Link (Ports, DMZ,etc) router but still everything the same. Only thing what can help is a patch/hotfix. I thinks its not a router oder internet problem it's a problem with the game.

my pc is connected directly to modem with 50 meg virgin media. SO NO WIRELESS ISSUES. But I still get kicked after 5 minutes with the same annoying message. So it is not us, IT IS THE DUMB F#CKS at CRYTEC. They need to sort this problem out and that of the HACKERS!!!!! How long now?? We all need to stop questioning our PC's and home set up. Its not us its them! Because CRYTEK cannot even be bothered to fix it or even just to respond and let us know they are aware of it, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

same here, I had a similiar issue when joining to a server, mine just stuck on loading screen like 5 minutes and then message popped up "you lost the connection to the host"

after several times tried to join a server, sometimes it's successfully joined but my ping was 999 !! and it's totally unplayable, I hope crytek will fix this issue and released the patch soon

by the way, my NAT is moderate, is it normal ? I'm using a D-Link modem and just work fine when playing other games like BFBC 2

When i try to load a match it stands like this

Could not connect.

Anybody knows what the problem is?

same prob here. on some days all work fine, on the next day im kicked off from all servers i tried after around 5min. that's hard and really annoying

Hey, i bought the game on release and i have had a problem with the multiplayer ever since.
when im playing i an online game i very often "disconnects" and it says "Attention the connection to your session has been lost". It is not my internet connection there is to slow because i can play all other games and such. I dont understand it.

I am getting this error right after one minute i joined the server. I have been getting this for about 2-3 hours now?? so i havent played decent match since then. Is this a bug or is it something to do with my pc??

It also happens to me randomly and seems to happen to everybody as well.
I once saw half of the players in the server left the game at the same time, I think they may be having this sessino has been lost thing

or

found 14, filtered 1700... ?

Oky doke, i've just merged about 10 different threads regarding this issue into the one thread (and there's till tonnes more).

If you're getting this error message still, can you please post in this thread with any relevant information and we'll try get to the bottom of it. Thanks!
