I got a connection problems too! the error kept saying "Connection to your opponent has been lost" What the balls?
Anyone have any ideas why is this keep happening!? Crytek Must Fix this.

Weird thing is it seems to happen more often when I succeed to kill 3 or 4 guys in a row.


For example, I killed 3 guys in a row with Jackal singleshot in IA.
Right after that I got this message and disconnected.

Also I have plenty other instances when I instantly disconnected right after I managed to make small killstreaks.

Can anyone know about this relation between getting disconnected when some player is doing well?

I had this kind of experience quite a few times.

Yes still get this message, and it is not my internet as i am still talking to my friends on ventrillo and chatting through steam and they do not necessarily get disconnected "so it is not server side it seems".

On another note , latelly i have been experiencing a new message "Protocol Error" mostly on EU servers.

I've had this game since release but only tried the multiplayer this weekend with the latest patch and double exp. I can't finish a whole game from start to end without being disconnected. I even loss connection while in the menu system before the game starts and have to log back in again. EA says I should put my computer directly on the internet with no firewall. I don't think that is it and could be a dangerous thing to do...

normally this message happens to me once or twice a week at max.

but starting from last Friday 3/6 at midnight GMT my ping showing double the numbers in the servers menu and getting hit by that error a couple of minutes after i join any server not matter what it was US or EUR. first it started to happen 4 or 5 times in a row in like 15 to 20 mins then it happened less frequent in the following day but still got it a couple of time per day.

I get the disconnection constantly. Almost every match now.

It did happen a few times exactly after I was at like a 20 killstreak Really sad.

Yes sir. It's been very bad since then.

Okay bypassing my router and putting the PC directly on to the internet fixes my problem. So now my question is why is my router causing the problem? Do I need to add a port forward? I have UPNP enabled.

Tried port forwarding 64100. I made it through 1 whole game but then got disconnected on 2nd game...

Opening ports won't work for some people. I've tried it, opened the ports that appeared on the console. I only got 30 or more seconds of gameplay and after that, DISCONNECTEEEED!!!

You NEEDS to fix the disconnecting problem, players like me can't play a full game at all even if my ping is below 100. I still get disconnected from very close servers.
